I am still waiting as they asked for my partner's ielts on 13th April nd that's it nthing after that I don't know what to do its been 10 nd half months.. What can be the matter plz someone help..

Here is my calculation, the lady said when ur file relocated to a different pese it goes to the queue again. So lets say at around 5to 6 month we usually get co. So when its relocated u add up another 6 months on top. So i was hoping i was gonna hear this month. And there u go they contacted me. Well file delayed does not mean anything negative. There are many things inside immigration that we dont know.

I have been reading the messages in this forum for the last week or so, just stumbled across it as I've been getting anxious about my application - but I was very happy today to receive my visa approval and thought I would share my timeline for reference. Good luck to everyone still waiting...I hope you'll all be writing one of these messages soon.

 

Additional note: the MA I used said they could only follow up on the application with the DIBP after 6 months (5/08/16). They emailed the DIBP on 11/08/16 and the approval came through the following day.

[A question~~~Could I go abroad during the processing time? ]

1.186 application already been lodged after 2 year's holding for 457,

and my 457 valid until 2018 (legally I'm free for leave);

2.but, my 2016 annual leave already be used in JAN for travel -.-...

3. situation: my boss is ok if I ask for leave，but i don't know the immigration department

 

I'm think for a 3-4weeks leave attending my good friend's wedding next month

but I'm afraid this will influence my PR processing,

 

when my case allocated by immi, will they know will they care I'm in AU or not?

or they may only care about in past 2 years' information?

will they think I'm not in genius position due to my over-length leave?（and may create some difficulties about my case?? -0-...

will my case be on hold due to my leave?

 

reeeeeeally confusing about leave at this critical juncture lol...

 

are there any experiencing mates could offer me some suggestions or share me your similar situation?

in small company,

i know the big day may come soon,

but the flight price is really push me to do an early decision..

MY ma called immigration nsw team 2 for my nomination file -- the lady checked my file and told my ma that they are waiting for information from somewhere ....its allready 11 months and from last 7 months they are telling the same .....i dont know from which department they want info .... I just google nd got to know abot ASIO .....asio took nearly 12 months to pass on the info to immi ....really really confused what to do and how to do

as long as u have valid 457 , i believe you can travel. i too checked with my agent they told me that there is no issue in travelling overseas as long as 457 is applicable . infact one of my friend got his grant when he was overseas ( india)

You can ask for unpaid leaves. This way you won't impact on immi situation.

Its fine to travel. I have applied in 30 dec, 2015 and no result yet. Its already late and don't know how long again.

I applied and got bridging visa class-WB and am now leaving to overseas on15th august. My MA told me, Immi don't need me here to issue the visa.

same situation mate, I'm planning to ask for unpaid leave,

hope can wait in home country until PR granted..lol...

Not sure where you came up with this theory but it doesn't make any sense. Many applicants got asked for additional information and still got their nomination or visa granted within a month...
