I believe it is a required document. They took mine on the day of interview (which I got translated by a NATI translator as specified on the immi website). My parents details are not on my passport though. Might differ from country of origin. Maybe best to give them a call to make sure.

Hi Cool, Council is Mosman Park in WA
-
No, I called my council directly and they told me would receive the invite for that date within a week.

Thought I'd share my timeline as well: online application: 19th October 2017 Acknowledgement email : 19th October 2017 Test date email: 4th May Test date: 7th May 2018 Approved online: 7th May 2018 Approval letter: 8th May 2018 (dated), received 14th of May Ceremony date: 4th July 2018 Applied in Perth, WA

Just got my test today and noticed my immi account has changed to approved. What is the next step after that? Will I receive a letter from immi to confirm the approval and then another one with the ceremony's date?

Things are moving in Perth Applied 19/10/17 Test invite 05/05/18 Test 06/06/18 moved to 08/05/18

But what about in between the citizenship Test and the ceremony? Some people here passed their test 5 or 6 months ago and still haven't received an invite for the ceremony. Can these people still travel or do they have to wait?
-
Just a quicky on behalf of a friend of mine who has just successfully passed his citizenship test. He is planning to travel extensively within the next 3 months so the question is: Does he need to wait until the citizenship ceremony to be able to travel?

Today immi ask for information regarding the nomination of a colleague of mine. Both is nomination and visa were lodged on the same day back in Feb whilst mine were lodge respectively in Feb and April. I can't figure out why mine went through without question and his requires clarifications... We are using the same MA as well. Go figure.

Haha, I'd say it's kind of cool. I am quite happy were I work but now I am starting to realise that I am no longer tied up with the company and I must say it is a pretty nice feel ;-) I have been here for 6 years so it was about time to do something about it. All the best for your visa mate.

I would say from the 12th. My nomination was lodge in Feb and Visa in April, visa granted yesterday. I can only speak for myself but if you look at similar cases from the flowsheet, it seems that many of us had similar scenarios.
