Me and my husband lodged our application on 24th July (All documents front loaded medical submitted within a week after application submission) and didn't receive any communication (except application acknowledgement) afterwards. I have applied for Skilled Migration Visa 189 on 14-July-2014 (all docs frontloaded & no CO yet) & going by the recent threads July gang has started receiving their grants...I know I should be really happy about it...but I am in deep trouble as I am getting married next month end (it waz a sudden decision) and I checked 309 Partner Visa timelines which are huge...hence please advice a way out as I want to travel to Melbourne coming Feb & preferably with my wife... Jack91 Posted September 19, 2014 Share Posted September 19, 2014 Only way she'll be able to go with you is on a tourist VISA (3 months at a time), Working Holiday Visa (limited working hours at each occupation) or as you said Partner Visa. But she can't apply for 189 on her own...I did find a Form 1436 for adding additional applicant & have filled it and will upload in immi account soon...hopefully they haven't made an decision on my application yet... When it says on the invitation to apply, that we get 60 days to apply, does this mean no one looks at anything for 60 days? It seems you could wait for 55 days, then apply and upload everything and it would make little different how quick it would get processed.
