The one who got the grant had also applied on the same day as us... Though he was onshore ... Too much waiting is making me crazy

Actually u just hv to travel to Australia once for validation once u get ur pr and that to till the date specified. there is no compulsion for u to move there. I hv a Frnd who has a pr and hve not moved there

Oh! thats a long wait VIP.... We have lodged on 17/7 and were under the impression that we might have been allotted co (and waiting for a direct grant.... too much optimism i guess). My brother had lodged in april first week and had a grant in 10 weeks...

Thanks steveinmunich, I had a look at the visa tracker... it was a huge relief to see that many of them have got direct grants and we could also determine the average period for grant..

Hi Keighley, is the visa tracker same thing as the Immi account? I keep on checking Immi account... But nothing new

Hi all, I am new to the thread... I have lodged my 189 visa application on 17/7/2014 but haven't received any communication from their side... waiting for the co... and the waiting is making me crazy
