  1. Remember nomination and visa application are 2 separate applications - so your application will not affect the processing time of the nomination.
  2. Hi Fung - If you check her previous posts (you can do this by clicking on the user name) it was because her partner had criminal records in Italy dated more than 10 years ago
  3. Hi Tiago, Really sorry you are in this position - do you know what is the next step for you? will you re-apply? My MA agent reached out to me last week and said the department of immigration are hitting out hard on "genuine need for the position" for ENS visas and as such need to strengthen business case by providing key achievements since being in the role and justifying the need for the employee. Also salary is a big thing that needs to be justified so again a strong business case needs to be put in place to support your base nominated salary - https://immi.homeaffairs.gov.au/visas/getting-a-visa/visa-listing/regional-sponsor-migration-scheme-187/salary-requirements Did you use a MA for the nomination? Wish you all the best for the next steps, understand the heartache you are in at the moment - as previously had a nomination refused.
  4. Hi - very sorry to hear this. We went through nomination refusal too last year. We decided to withdraw our application and start all over again What was the reason for the nomination refusal do you know? Maybe can appeal - although I hear that appeal waiting times can be > 1 year! Either that or start again
  5. Hi - welcome, please update your signature - to share your timeline (instructions are in my signature) No, usually your application is looked at, so if they require any further details then they request all what is needed in the request s56. I would say it would be very unlikely for them to ask multiple times, as not efficient..... But I wouldn't rule it out. Occupation: State: Visa type: Applicants: Country: Nomination lodged: Visa lodged: IMMI Status:
  6. Hi @Sure No I have not heard of this before. What has your MA said about it? You could try contacting the general query number for migration - as I have heard of them being able to give HAP IDs etc... Call them on 131 881 Is there any correspondence in the messages section of your immi account? If not - you may just need to wait it out until you are assigned a CO and they ask for your child's medical - then you can explain the mix up ?
  7. Hi - no you will not be alerted by immigration regarding the nomination. As that is separate and your company will be notified of this - or if the company used MA for nomination application then the MA will be notified.
  8. @Sure - I have looked back at your posts, it appears you need to organise the medical for your child? Was this already completed? If you provide some more information we can probably help or as I mentioned above you can ring the general immigration helpline.
  9. Immigration can be contacted on 131 881 - it is general queries but they should be able to help you with your query.
  10. Hi @Sure Please update your signature to include the following (instructions can be found in my signature). Occupation: State: Birth Country: Stream: Number of applicants: ENS 186 Nomination applied: Visa Application submitted: IMMI Status: By the looks of things you only applied in October 2018, whereas @123stella was an April 2017 application - hence why her MA probably had some leverage. However in your case no point contacting department when you are well within the processing times.
  11. As mentioned before this forum is a very small sample of 186 applications - plus I would say the majority of the community is NSW - hence why appearing that grants for NSW are greater to those of QLD. This is not something listed on the spreadsheet so bit hard to really assess - processing State is but we have noticed that applications in NSW have been processed by VIC team etc... Anyone from QLD see any progress with their applications? or know of any recent grants to help @jo888 out?
  12. Hi, No ones knows in what sequence immigration is working. As you may see if you click back a few pages visa grants are coming through randomly, looks like quicker grants are coming through for those applications post SAF Levy which was from 12 August 2018. In recent weeks there has been some grants from 2017 and 2018 (pre SAF levy) It is a case by case basis and I am sure there are a lot of other variables between you and your friends applications - for example character / previous work experience / previous visas held / countries visited etc... there is so much data that could make your applications very different. Also it looks like cooks are a lot slower to process (pre SAF levy) looks like those applications are heavily scrutinized.
  13. I don't think this is a necessary comment to make. Visas are getting processed in the last few days in this forum there has been a few grants.... also good to mention that this forum is just a very small sample or all the 186 applications being processed/granted. You are still within the time frame as am I - I know everyone wants the visa but you need to be patient - there are many people waiting and some from 2017 that do not make as much noise. Sit tight and you know what they say....... Good things come to those that wait
  14. Medicare Levy is charged to those who are eligible for Medicare - basically when you lodge your Australian Tax Returns a medicare levy will apply (usually starting from 1% of your taxable income) If you are not eligible you can be exempt from this levy.
  15. Hi - please add you signature so you can be added to the timeline; Occupation: State: Birth Country: Stream: Number of applicants: ENS 186 Nomination applied: Visa Application submitted: IMMI Status: There was an WA grant a few pages back - also as you can imagine this forum only represents a very small sample of all 186 applications. I would say that just in this forum there are probably more people in NSW than WA. But like I said based on a very small sample of the total number of applications
  16. Hi, Yes, if you apply before nomination is approved - and the nomination is refused you will not get a refund.
  17. Hi @Laure Welcome to the community, please update your signature - Occupation: State: Birth Country: Stream: Number of applicants: Nomination applied: ENS 186 Visa applied: Nomination Approved on: IMMI Status:
  18. Bit confused with what you mean. Remember both applications are separate. Nomination is your employer's application - once approved who ever handled the nomination application will be advised (eg if it was MA they will be advised or company looked after it they will be advised by the department). Your visa application will be looked at once the nomination is approved - this could possibly be any time - same day, next day or 12 months later....
  19. I wouldn't say it is a joke. I am assuming that this generated email is to those who have straight forward applications - eg have not flagged any areas of concerns this could be previously visa held / countries visited / character section - probably a long list of variables. It is just ensuring that the "straight forward" applications are up to date and therefore can be processed quicker once assigned a CO. Just my assumption...
  20. I haven't received this email yet - however I am using a Migration Agent so maybe he just hasn't told me yet? Also for those who are new - please update your signatures
  21. Hi @bigbasin Please update your signature so you can be included in the spreadsheet. Occupation: State: Birth Country: Stream: Number of applicants: ENS 186 Visa and Nomination applied
  22. If you read a few posts up a few people have received the same email. I guess it means your application will be allocated to Case officer shortly. Once its allocated then it will be assessed. Also please update your signature to include the following; Occupation: State: Birth Country: Stream: Number of applicants: ENS 186 Visa and Nomination applied:
  23. No one knows - click back a few pages and read a few peoples experiences get an idea of timings However everyone is different and no one can advise on the time frame... as people have been waiting 40 days + to a year!
  24. I really don't think the spreadsheet needs to be modified to include this - as how do you know it is a priority criteria? Also SAF levy paid by employer not likely that employee will know how much is paid.
