  1. You will also need to submit the form 1023 to correct the character questions in your application. Would also suggest to provide the new police check too.
  2. Hi Duda, Yes you must advise - this will still show up on your Police Certificate. If should not impact your application as no conviction.
  3. Yeah unsure why this was shared as does not apply to visa processing times - it is do do with security assessments?! If you want to make a complaint to immigration there is a link on their website. I have heard that they do not appreciate complaints regarding processing times - and in turn this just wastes their 'valuable' attention away from visa processing. I have know of many people that have complained - none of which received a response or any progress on their visa. I know it is dis-heartening in waiting, especially when you see people who applied after you get granted - it is unfair and no one truly knows in what sequence they are working. Try not let it be on your mind everyday - try to be positive your time will come
  4. Hi @Royal1 Look at the positive - immi have not rejected your application they just require more information. So if you reply to the requested documents by including Company Letter on Letterhead explaining and also include Stat Dec and/or Form 1023 to correct the issue. I am sure it will be fine - they just need some clarification
  5. @Kashif.Iqbal just ask the person who posted it on Facebook for the link or where they got it from. Then share with us, as @Hex said It's difficult providing advise on topics that cannot be verified
  6. @Kashif.Iqbal - please provide the link for this information as your pasted information is hurting my eyes
  7. Sorry to hear about the refusal Maybe the $ spent on training didn't meet the benchmark or could be another reason? Did you use an MA? The Training Benchmark system requires sponsors to demonstrate expenditure of: an amount equivalent to 2% of gross payroll towards a training fund, such as a donation to a TAFE college or University; or an amount equivalent to 1% of gross payroll on training Australian staff. Existing sponsors are required to meet the Training Benchmarks either on the anniversary of their sponsorship or in each financial year. Options; Your employer can appeal the refusal - only would recommend if 100% you believe that immi made mistake - this is a loong process though could be 1/2 years or more to get the appeal. Are you still on 457 visa? is it a possibility to submit a new application? I know its at great expense but likely to be processed quicker than the appeal route. Only thing is Employer will need to pay the SAF. If on a bridging visa already (that is if your 457 has already expired) bit of a trickier process you can re-apply but you will be on bridging visa C - which means no travel! Speak to some Migration Lawyers/Agents and assess the options best for you - would definitely recommend specialist advise under the circumstances. Wish you all the best and again so sorry - I understand went through a nomination refusal too
  8. Do you have a Migration Agent? As would always recommend to seek professional migration advice. Can you elaborate on your Alias at work... to what extent is it used? Is it on your payslips/official employment documents etc? or just like a Nick Name? In this case I would get your company to provide a letter to the department (on company letter head) explaining that you are known as "alias" at work - however you are legally known as.... Also you could include a statutory declaration - explain truthfully why it was not disclosed - you could also submit the Form 1023 ( https://immi.homeaffairs.gov.au/form-listing/forms/1023.pdf ) Notification of incorrect answer and try to correct it.
  9. Hi Melal, Your application can be processed in any state, even just look at the post above yours someone in WA got granted by NSW processing department.
  10. I believe that this is in regards that the department may think you have breached some visa conditions - have they given any more information regarding this so can better assist? Also what is your occupation?
  11. There are tabs in the 186 timeline (see at the bottom of sheet) - you can select the different months and the year is indicated too. Update your signature to include the following - (instructions in my signature below) Occupation: State: Birth Country: Stream: Number of applicants: ENS 186 Nomination applied: Visa Application submitted: IMMI Status: Processing Office:
  12. @Salikala and to others with recent PR grants - big congrats! Please make sure you update your signature stating your visa grant date
  13. Hi Duda, This is entirely up to the Case Officer. I would recommended that your police checks are up to date to avoid any delays though, as if the CO requests valid police checks then that could delay your application up to 28 days +
  14. I think what @steve 007 means is to update your signature to show the visa grant date and status as you haven't updated yet (still says received)
  15. Hi, I haven't faced the same situation. I came across this article: https://www.sbs.com.au/news/australia-to-refuse-visas-for-domestic-violence-offenders which looking at it I would say your husband has slim chance of getting his visa for Australia. Firstly do you have a Migration Agent (MA)? It may be worth seeking professional assistance to address this. I would suggest that you complete a statutory declaration - might be good to include one from yourself and also one from your husband explaining what had happened, why it happened and the rehabilitation undertaken to ensure that it has been addressed and will not happen again and that your husband is reformed character etc... As you have mentioned - Immigration take this crime very seriously and there is no tolerance for domestic violence. It's hard to know what Immigration will decide, but wish you all the best.
  16. Its entirely up to you, if you do before a CO is assigned then it may mean a decision is made quicker - avoids them asking you to complete medical. I had done a medical for previous application in July 2017 - so my medical had expired July 2018 My 186 was granted without the need to complete a new medical - however I believe we were lucky as heard others were requested to do new ones if expired, just depends on your CO i guess!
  17. Online application To import an online application: log in to ImmiAccount select 'Import Application' enter the Application ID, date of birth, travel document number and country for the main applicant select 'Confirm' The imported application will show in your ImmiAccount.
  18. While on 457 if you are the main applicant you can only work for nominated employer. However once your 186 visa is granted you can have a 2nd job
  19. Hi are you the main holder of 457 visa? if so you could be breaching the work condition of only working for your nominated company? Just be careful...here is a useful document explaining. https://www.volunteering.nsw.gov.au/__data/assets/pdf_file/0017/432251/volunteers___visas.pdf
  20. Hi - just did a quick google as per Fair work Australia Full-time employee works, on average, around 38 hours each week
  21. Well you are still within the processing time - try to stay positive and don't let it annoy you! I received that email (on 4/4/19) and my visa got granted 2 weeks and one day after on 19th April (I am an applicant from June 2018). There has been so much movement in this community the last week especially (remember this community is a very very small sample of all those 186 visa applicants) with Visa grants and nominations getting approved.... so stay positive!
  22. Hi - my friend did - but didn't seem to have any affect! You are just over the processing times - I heard (check out a number of pages back) that only successful to complain about when over the processing times by double
  23. Hi I would hold off with the medicals - mine had expired in July 2018 and my visa got granted last Friday 19th April. I was so surprised we were not requested to get new ones.
  24. Hi Everyone My boss just called and advised my PR has been granted, absolutely delighted and surprised that they did not request a new medical as ours was completed in July 2017 - we had a refused nomination prior to this application. Straight out approval - no request for anything further Also very surprised we got granted on Good Friday (public holiday) My MA agent received the email on 4/4/19 advising will be allocated soon. Thank you everyone in this forum, this is a great community with so much help, advice and support. Wish you all the very best.... now a nice long weekend to celebrate 7 years in Australia and now finally a permanent resident - buzzing!
