  1. You are well within the processing times at the moment, just try to be patience and don't be counting days as you will send yourself crazy.
  2. You are still withing the processing times, just be patience and do not let the wait get to you.
  3. Hi Saund, No one can give you a answer here on how long a CO takes to make their decision. It depends on a number of factors, nomination, visa application, how complex it is - other applicants/dependents on your application etc... However in most cases once your application is picked up by CO they will assess, if they require any additional information (not always requested) then you usually have 28 days to provide requested info. Then it can be a waiting game to when it is picked up again to assess. Other cases are lucky where straight grant no further information is needed. If you can give us an idea of your timeline - usually very useful to create a signature including the same - instructions in my signature Occupation: State: Birth Country: Stream: Number of applicants: ENS 186 Visa and Nomination applied: IMMI Status:
  4. They are probably just making sure that your employer is adhering to sponsorship obligations. As business needs to be operating legally etc, paying payroll, Taxes etc... My company had to provide a breakdown on Australian Citizens / PR / temporary visa employees to immigration - unsure if they requested any further details regarding them though. Take is as good news because they are looking at your case - once the information is provided you may not have to wait much longer for decision
  5. I guess immigration are just looking at your organisation and have requested more information - does your company sponsor many workers? They probably just want to ensure everything is in order etc..

  7. Yes this is what it currently is. They tried to change it to 4 years PR last year but it was never passed. Pauline Hanson is trying to get it to 8 years PR and according to this article: https://www.sbs.com.au/yourlanguage/punjabi/en/article/2018/02/09/pauline-hanson-wants-migrants-wait-8-years-become-citizens a private member's Bill has been brought before the Federal Parliament that seeks to increase the waiting period for permanent residents to eight years before they can apply to be Australian citizens.
  8. Did you MA look after the nomination part - because both of these is in relation to that. My MA at the time advised me that Immi are going hard on the 'Genuine need for the employee nominating" and that a good strong business case is needed. He recommended for me to list down key achievements while under my 457 - business generated for the company and anything relevant showing my importance within the company. This was submitted in addition with a letter from the Director of my role within the company and the need for me, etc. No equivalent worker - if there is no one equivalent within your business, again a strong business case is needed. This will be research into current salary rates for your occupation and location. Your salary must be no less favourable to current market rates to where you are working.
  9. When you are logging in to check your status on VEVO. Document type - Passport Reference type: Choose one of the following Transaction Reference Number (TRN) Visa Evidence Number, Visa Grant Number (This will be of your PR application) Date of birth Document number - Passport Number Country of document Then will give the status of your visa - eg Resident.
  10. Hi Ryan, Scott Morrision will cap permanent migration at 160,000 for the next four years. To be honest, this will not have too much of an affect as 160,000 was consistent with the intake over the past 12 months. Australia accepted 162,417 permanent migrants in the past year.
  11. Yes - you must withdraw your application - do not let it go to refusal! Withdraw your application and re-apply ensuring that your still within the 6 months of nomination approval. No one can advise on processing times....
  12. My visa was approved and Marketing Specialists were removed from the list. @tuti - looking at the spreadsheet and in recent weeks there has been Feb 2018 approvals and a couple from 2017. It's a mind field trying to work out what way they are processing the visas - clearly no set order! Looks like SAF levy is a factor as post SAF levy (applicants after 12/08/2018) are getting approved very quick.
  13. You must apply for the visa within 6 months of the nomination being approved. You can re-apply under the approved nomination as long as same occupation etc... All good, good luck!
  14. You can have a look at the spreadsheet - there has been a few refusals in this community. (spreadsheet ENS 186 Timeline - Google Sheets ) look over various months Some common reasons... - No genuine need for the employee - evidence not provided. - insufficient evidence that the company can pay wage for 2 years - Training Benchmarks (this will not affect you as replaced from 12/8/2018 with SAF Levy) Nomination approval is the same as application processing times so at the moment the Immi website advises; 75% of applications: 12 months 90% of applications: 13 months But obviously can be processed outside these, could be a few months could be >13 months.
  15. Hi @Mmmbop this is entirely up to you. It just means if the nomination part is refused then you will lose the application fee of your visa. That is the major risk. Otherwise if nomination is all good and doesn't get refused and applied at the same time it may mean that your application is approved sooner - as in a lot of cases both nomination and visa approved on same day. Seen in other cases where applicant waits until nomination approved then they apply and it is a further X amount of months (usual processing times or longer) However in recent weeks looks like waiting times are decreasing - but then again this can change at any time. Also with election and new Financial year coming up I am guessing this will slow down. I would recommend using a MA for the business nomination at least - important that a good business case is built around the nomination as in recent months/past year Immigration are heavily scrutinizing applications. Good luck
  16. Second time lucky... I'm sure you will get this time, understand the frustration... is the MA taking some responsibility for it - I hope not charging you fees again (apart from IMMI application charge) Thanks Looks like grants are coming in faster these days - so hope you are not waiting too long!
  17. Hi, welcome into the community! I'm a recent grant under Marketing Specialist. My company size is 10 people including myself - turnover is around $2.5 M Do you know what company documents were not uploaded or missing that Immi refused? These days Immi does not need to request any information for missing documents - it is up to the CO - but seems like they are getting very ruthless! (we had a 186 refusal back in April 2018 - but this was done with my boyfriends company. We then decided to go with 186 under my employer). Good luck
  18. Yeah but your original comment was unnecessary and not much help to anyone else in this community... remember the spreadsheet is just a very small sample of all the visa applicants you can be sure that there was probably more >1000 applicants each month. If you don't have a question to the community or a statement that is actually helpful then the post is not very helpful to the community so keep it to yourself
  19. You applied 2/3 months ago - please do not be complaining here, there are people even waiting from 2017. Standard processing times are 12/13 months so relax and be patience.
  20. You are still within the estimated processing times so stay positive Good things come to those who wait
  21. That is interesting, thanks! I guess this would be at the discretion of the Case officer, maybe some of them take the complete case (as in both nomination and corresponding application) at the same time.... This would explain why some applicants get nomination and application approved simultaneously and then there's the other side of the coin - the two step process, nomination approval and then later on application approval..
  22. Hi, remember the nomination and your application are two separate applications. The CO will not open or look at your application until the Nomination is approved - however please note that this could be on the same day - seconds, minutes after nomination approved. Or longer it just is luck of the draw
  23. @Duda its up to you though - if that what your migration agent is suggesting than hopefully that is fine. I guess it just depends on CO. But I know if there is a change in circumstances that the department must be notified. Best to be open and honest Good luck with you application. Also suggest you share your timeline (add to your signature - instructions in my signature below) Occupation: State: Birth Country: Stream: Number of applicants: ENS 186 Nomination applied: Visa Application submitted: IMMI Status:
  24. I understand that, but circumstances have changed since the application is submitted and as the application is still pending and not assigned a CO - when they look at the application the character details will be incorrect... Just that this had happened to my partner and we had to do the same (as recommended by our MA).
