  1. Ha yep- I’m one of those people @Paddsy keeping everything crossed for good news in the next batch for us
  2. @Marisawright I think nearly everyone on this thread has gone through London office for 309 or 300. i think the frustration for the past few weeks has been that within our small sample here, there hasn’t been any grants whatsoever, just RFIs or for some, a second RFI. im thinking quarterly quotas... for it to go silent at exactly the same time last year as well. I know they’re not capped but they must surely have to exercise some crowd control ....
  3. I’ll get a link to the document up here later on. But if you go further back there’s a link to older versions on one of my posts. the list of names are in date lodged order. You’ll be around the same timeline as mine (my info is in my signature below) oh and welcome!!
  4. It was all quiet for the same period last year and then picked up from end feb through to April. Ive written off all hope of getting it before the end of this month so if it happens it’ll be a surprise lol who am I trying to kid....?!?! I’m still hitting the refresh button a million times a day!!
  5. Welcome to the lounge @t.f.s! thanks for sharing your details- you’ll be added to the sheet accordingly! First bit of movement we’ve heard of all week (we all cling in to these lol!) i think we’ve got a great community here and I’ve certainly benefitted from having an “ear” to listen to my whinging now and again lol! So if there’s any more long time lurkers please share the wealth xx
  6. @Jibran your child is 13 months old and you’ve not seen your wife in 21 months?
  7. You’re in good company I’m feeling comforted knowing that I’m not alone but id like to get on the visa grant bus now please
  8. That’s correct. And yes, tourist stream. I included a letter from my partner to say he would be providing accomodation and supporting me during my visit and 3 of his payslips. within the application I stated what we would be doing- some visits to his family, and spending Christmas together
  9. I’m one of those people. so basically you need to be all over your immi account.... like we all are anyway lol! in the event that your 309 is granted before you get your 600, you must cancel your 600 application immediately or it can override your 309 which you’ve been patiently waiting for! i applied for 6months and got it within 48 hours. It’s multiple entry so after my trip outside of Oz in January the clock reset
  10. Yep - You can save progress. In fact my advice is to do that as regularly as possible as in every few minutes. When I was completing my form it had a nasty habit of crashing and I'd lose a lot of work!
  11. Come on over to the London thread and I’ll add you to the spreadsheet. It’ll give you an idea of where you’re at
  12. Welcome @TenPoundPom will get you added to the sheet if there’s any more long time lurkers out there please share the wealth of your experiences!
  13. There’s a separate thread showing timelines for offshore partner visas in London, if it’s onshore then it’ll probably be much longer. Plus, there is uncertainty over when the rules will change but would certainly make it more difficult for you to apply onshore of on a visitor visa. There’s heaps written on other threads on the subject by trusted migration agents
  14. @ZoeHoulding Lol I’ve been pricing up flights daily we will be on the same one!! My marriage date is the 1st March so I called them on Friday night to ask if I need to move that or otherwise.... I had a generic response that she couldn’t comment on individual cases
  15. Hi Gang Very disappointing couple of weeks... Here's the state of play going into the start of a new week...
  16. Haaa I was the same! I’m taking advantage of the aircon in the apartment we are staying at (I won’t be so cavalier when I’m paying the bill lol!!) we move into our new place at the start of March - can’t wait!!
  17. For the love of God! (I’m trying to be polite @ZoeHoulding) Hopefully it’ll be like the good old days (ie last year) where you submit the info and you get a response within the same day.....
  18. Hi @LouFerg just checked on the sponsor application and it’s the same for me. The status is “submitted” but when you view details, next to my partners name it says “approved”. this is good news as my RFIs were for the sponsors birth cert and uk police check. I’m filled with new hope
