  1. Sorry I should have said submitted the application. It hasn't been completed yet. There is no requirement for QTS, just the teacher training qualification. Have you downloaded the application form? There is a tick list of documents you need to send.
  2. Do you have a three year degree and was the teaching qualification full time for a year (or equivalent)? As long as you have the required evidence regarding the supervised teaching I can't imagine it would make any difference where you completed this. I am not a migration agent though, just someone that has recently completed the application.
  3. Ouch! At least you all have visas now Good luck with the move. Thanks again
  4. Thanks for your reply, really useful to know. Is your wife required to have an x-Ray now that the baby is born?
  5. Thanks @joeh99 will follow this post with interest. We're not looking to move out for another year though so it may all change by then!
  6. Sorry can't help with answering your question but would like to know what type of registration you are applying for as I was very confused when I looked?! Also hoping to head to WA.
  7. Sent this off earlier so at the very beginning of the process. Keep your fingers crossed for us
  8. Hi, just out of interest... If you apply for PR while pregnant can you postpone the medicals and add the newborn baby to the application after they are born? Thus avoiding the need for a seperate 101 visa? Thanks
  9. So kind of you to offer. My husband managed to find some so we no longer need them. @Judge Dredd may want them.
  10. Hi, just wondering if @Judge Dredd took these. If not I would really appreciate them
  11. Thank you for all your comments so far. We are going to Oz on holiday in 2018 to visit friends, so may look at sorting our visa before then so we can validate it. We are both secondary school teachers (maths and science) and I have seen a lot of comments about an over supply so I'm worried we may be taken off the skills list in future! I think making casual comments about Australia over the next year may be the way forward! Sarah
  12. Hi all, we haven't even started the process of applying for visas yet and aren't wanting to move until Jan 2020 but this is playing on my mind... So...when did you tell your families you were thinking of moving and do you think it was the right time? Interested to hear of your experiences. Thanks Sarah
