It is a problem. I have't heard from anyone that the test is easy and that they passed the first time. It you really like to complain there is an appeal process that I heard of.

Its a real insult. Australian nurses are no more trained than U.K. nurses. The Australian government had a parliamentary enquiry into the OET English proficiency test used by nurses to come to Austalia. Even though the report was negative, not much seemed to change. Its disgusting that you keep failing and IELTS keep making money every time you fail. The IELTS test is only $330 so its not that much of a problem.

They used too however they do it to make more money. Its very common to get a high enough score in 3 sections of the test and fail the other section. And then you do the test again then you have a different section and pass the section that you failed previously.

Maybe thats a better idea the ATO can be helpful. Its only really if you are stealing millions of dollars that they will care.

It would be difficult to get help if you don't provide those details. Unless you want to only give the passport numbers etc. And explain that you don't want to give a photo copy.

Call the ATO and ask them. You can do a tax return (even if its a few year late) and add up all of your work expenses. This will bring the tax level down. On the ATO website you can find clear information about what you can claim as a tax deduction. This will lower the amount of tax you need to pay. The tax office staff are very nice and helpful.

its such an insult that people from england need to sit the ielts english test before the move to australia. Imagine is convicts who first came to australia had to sit an ielts test. Haha.

I didn't read your post properly. I thought you had failed the test

As you are from Scotland you should be ok in the test. However it is possible to fail as I met an American English teacher who failed the IELTS test the first time she attempted it.
