  2. nomination applied on 2nd sept. still no news
  3. do you know whats the average processing time? I was told that its 2-3 weeks, now it has been almost 4 weeks
  4. My new employer put in the nomination on 1st sept. Still no news. Does anyone know how long it takes to get the nomination approved. Im desperate
  5. coz I got a offer from another company. i just wondered if they are able to find how much money you get each month? Or just the total at the end of financial year
  6. Yes the same. But I rather ask my company to write me a statement saying I have been working there for 3 yrs then to submit all the PAYG statements plus I have my contract renewed once ( for my 457)
  7. So does it mean I will need to submit contract and a pay statement?? What about an employment statement listing my hours and pay per annum?
  8. Did your employer do both for you? They lodged the 186 nomination and I pay for my own application fee. Now they told me they didn't know it's gonna take few months, they thought the bridging visa will come in effect straight away.
  9. Thing is they have already lodged the 186 nomination. I have already paid for it too which is $3500. I really wish they can do it. If not I'm gonna be in trouble
  10. For direct entry. I just wondered if a letter from employer is enough. Do i have to give them all my payslips, PAYG statement of last 3 years? Or can i just give them the employment contract. Has anyone been asked for extra documents??? e.g bankstatement??
  11. Can someone tell me if one yr part time employment count??? On the website it says "at least 20 hours a week" so i assume it counts!???? Please verify
  12. Im on the same boat! But with different employer. Now they might take back the offer (already lodged 186) because they dont want to wait til the 186 is granted or put in a nomination for 457 (apparently they can only put in one application for an employee) (
  13. are you onshore or offshore? my agent told me its 2-4 weeks. but immigration told me 3-4 weeks good luck!
  14. looks like if you are onshore you will get this visa granted quite quickly. I have just lodged a EOI. really hope I will get an invitation soon!

  20. Hi people ) Im currently on 457 and got a job offer from another company. They have lodged the 186 direct entry for me on 11aug and i thought the bridging visa will replace the 457 (stupid me). So i told them i can start working on 20th aug (already on the contract) However last friday i found out they have to put in a 457nomination to take over my current employer ;((. I think they did it yesterday. anyone know how long its gonna take???? Im very worried they might decided not to wait. I m from low risk country and in health sector. please help!
