    Form 80

England to Adelaide.. You might as well stay in England Sorry cannot help you with form 80. Not everyone needs to do it. We are just hoping our CO wont ask us for it as I saw it and it just seemed like a lot of hassle. Good luck!
  2. careful from the surcharge fee! They charged us $50 on top of our $4750 visa That means we are down a case of beer...
  3. And you can choose to do it online or on paper. I preferred to have everything in front of me and do it on paper. And I don't have a scanner so getting things signed by a JP and scanned into the computer would just get annoying. There is a lot of documents going into it.
  4. I've sent my police check with my client number. I called up and they told me my client number so I put it on a note and sent it off. That day I got an email confirming my receipt and bridging visa! I've also been told that I will only have to give an AUS police check and medical check in a year. Annoyingly I didn't do enough research and got my checks in February. So will have to do more next Feb. Or just wait until the case officer asks for another one..
  5. So today I posted my application for subclass 820 (partner visa)!!! Months of paperwork I'm so happy!! The only annoying thing is I sent off for my UK police check in February and I had to send my application off without it with a note in there. THEN..... of all the days I come home to see the police certificate has finally arrived... AAAAHHHHHH but still.. How do you post more information to go towards your visa application? Shall I wait a few days for an email with maybe a reference number? or..? Wish me up to 15 months of luck!!
  6. I think for you to leave and re-enter on a bridging visa you need to contact immi and then I think they will put you on a BVB visa? My friend did this on his bridging visa and I think he said that for this BVB visa it was around $200
  7. Sweet well thank god for all that to be done with!! Annoying thing is I just got fired without warning (casual work) just before I lodge this application perfect timing right?? haha Oh well! This is much pretty done with and now just the waiting game! for the visa and a new job.. Wish me luck!!
  8. and some people have 20 statutory declarations.......???
  9. Really? I called up and they said 5-10 pictures and no more than that. And people writing about how not to put too much in yet they have included ridiculous amounts of joint finances, gym memberships, shopping receipts, emails and so and so... As i have to apply 1 month before the full 12 month requirement for my bridging visa is my only worry. But a lot of people have informed me that it is okay as we have our relationship registered. I'm happy with all my evidence but seeing what other people have included which is more than what I have worries me a little. I'm hoping that with the straight forward evidence on what I've included and not swarming it with pointless stuff will make the CO happier. I don't want to piss them off with too much..
  10. Harsh that she put a time frame on how long she will wait for you... I know it's hard but if she is relying on you to sort the visa she can do a little bit of research too as lots of people apply offshore. I'm not entirely sure on the offshore visa as i'm applying onshore. Can't she get her 2nd working holiday visa and you can apply from here? Offshore is cheaper. If not then I have seen a lot on offshore applicants get granted a lot quicker. Onshore time is around 12-15 months. Offshore i've seen it can be a few weeks to a couple of months. This is what I've included: - Relationship certificate - My application filled - My partners application filled - Both our personal statements, Typed, 2 pages long, not signed by JP - Proof of Identity, both passports, birth certificates, showing my partner is an Australian citizen - Health and Character checks, AUS Police check, Medical check (was a bitch) and the UK police check should arrive today - Joint finances, Our joint bank account showing bills payed, rent, internet, electric - Living arrangements, proof of addresses we have lived in for the past year, 3 stat decs from the lease holders stating we rented a room. - Our lease with both names - 5 Statutory declarations from mutual friends including his brother - Supporting evidence, My flight ticket from 1st June last year to Australia backing up our personal statements with my mothers payment details as she payed for my flights to be with him. - 10 Pictures in a medium sized snappy bag with 2 of my passport and 2 of his passport photos. Still do research on the offshore application as i'm not an expert on it. Or go speak to a migration agent. I just had a look on the immi.gov website and I think this is your visa you have to apply for https://www.immi.gov.au/Visas/Pages/309-100.aspx There you go!
  11. I know my bridging visa won't kick in until the first of June but I just was a little bit worried of how long it will take them to actually look in my application. Hopefully it wont take a month. But thank you very much hopefully it will be all good!!
  12. Hello, I am submitting my onshore partner visa in a couple of days and have been reading through the forum. Some people are saying don't include too much but then saying they included many pictures, receipts, emails, phone contacts.. the lot!! I thought this was the pointless information they don't want?? So I dont want to over do it yet I don't want to not give enough.. can anyone tell me what else I'd need to post? I have: - Relationship certificate - My application filled - My partners application filled - Both our personal statements, Typed, 2 pages long, not signed by JP - Proof of Identity, both passports, birth certificates, showing my partner is an Australian citizen - Health and Character checks, AUS Police check, Medical check (was a bitch) and the UK police check should arrive today - Joint finances, Our joint bank account showing bills payed, rent, internet, electric - Living arrangements, proof of addresses we have lived in for the past year, 3 stat decs from the lease holders stating we rented a room. - Our lease with both names - 5 Stat decs from mutual friends including his brother - Supporting evidence, My flight ticket from 1st June last year to Australia backing up our personal statements with my mothers payment details as she payed for my flights to be with him.(I payed her back) I met him on my first year visa. - 10 Pictures in a medium sized snappy bag with 2 of my passport and 2 of his passport photos. Am I missing anything? Have I added too much?? Because some people have provided a ridiculous amount of things that I have read. I just want it to be as straight forward as possible and be happy and stress free with the one I love!
  13. How long did it take you to grant your bridging visa?
  14. I'm just waiting on 1 document in the post. It should be here today or tomorrow but my plan was to send it by Monday 28th April. My visa expires 1st June. Then I will send it with registered post. I want to know how long it will take (if you've had experience with this) for them to contact me with my bridging visa? Thank you
  15. Heeeeeey So a quick question. I am about to send everything off 1 month before the end of my second working holiday visa expires. On the phone to the embassy I got told to send it 2 weeks before and another time I called someone else said give it 1 month before just so it gives them time to get my bridging visa sorted. How long from posting it does it take them to start looking at your application? How long do you think I will be mailed my bridging visa? Last thing I want is to run out of time and be here illegally onshore, no agent Thank you!!
  16. Wait what visa are you on now? I'm on my second working holiday visa and I was told I have to get a bvb visa every time I want to leave on the bridging visa until it is granted..? So thats an extra $200 on top of your ticket to get back into the country.. Have fun n the UK I wish I could go home right now.
  17. I love Australia but I still pray for rainy days so I can cuddle up with a hot drink and blanket. I miss my family so I completely understand why people go back. And in the UK beer is ALOT cheaper. That's definitely something to miss..
  18. I'm applying next week and I had 3 months of gathering everything and all my research. It is only 12 months that the checks are valid for. But I wont need to do another one in the UK next year. Only aus for the police and the medical again. I have also had advice and have been told that it is best to provide all the information before you submit your application to prevent you going in a que, as it wastes their time calling you (the last thing you want to do is piss of your CO). It's annoying for me to have to do twice, but it will be less hassle for them and may get you granted sooner. Also some people don't even get a CO. I read someone got granted after 4 months. My friend provided everything and was 13 months and only did 1 check. Glad all this gathering of the paperwork is over though!!!
  19. Actually heres a question.. When I had my medical check they told me I'd get the results in the post. I never got them yet I called them up and they said it's not a personal check for you it's for the embassy. I know thats why I got it but it is a bit crappy that I wouldn't be able to know my results. But the lady on the phone said no news is good news. I added my receipt from the check in with all the paperwork but wondered if thats okay? What have you done with your medical check?
  20. haha Yeah they are driving me insane too! I am also sending it by post onshore. don't clip them together, they don't like clips. But I did put coloured tabs at the top separating, evidence on defacto, becky's application, tysons application, proof of identity, joint finances, stat decs, personal statements, living arrangements etc... Ive put our relationship certificate at the top and put the pictures, including the passport photos in a medium sized snappy bag. Do you mean the front page of your application? Non of my friends stat decs include the first pages and I called up to find out a while ago and they said no. But I also asked if I need to include some of the application even if it doesn't apply to me (adding children to application) and she said even if the pages are blank I still need to send all of it.. Do what you feel is right I wish I can read through other people's applications before I send them off. I also see some peoples getting granted within a few months! but around 3 of my friends that have done it took them around 15 months good luck! and sorry I messaged back late.
  21. We are about to pay by credit card. When are you lodging your visa? Postal order might be your best bet if you don't have a credit card.. Still annoying because they will charge you $20 to do that.. I know it's not much but it's all adding up!! I'm sending mine off in 2 weeks. I may have to send it without my UK police check as they have been messing me around. Hopefully I will get this certificate this time...
  22. I've been complaining about my UK police check a lot. They are USELESS!!! It's been nearly 3 months and I still haven't received my certificate and they are about to send the 3rd IF I pay more... They said it must keep getting lost in the post...
  23. You get a bridging visa as soon as your working holiday visa runs out. You can enroll on medicare and work on the bridging visa. apply 3 weeks to a month before the end of your working holiday ONLY IF you have registered your relationship. You can only do this in certain states. I am in NSW and have a similar situation to you.
  24. Just standard airmail. They said they have sent 2. My friend living in sydney had his sent by standard airmail and got it in 10 days. I even double checked the spelling of my address.. I think it would be too late to change it.. I mean I didn't put my mothers address in the application. Just a very annoying situation..
