  1. Apparantly ahpra are now wanting evidence of 20 caseloading cases....if that means anything to you? Sorry I'm a nurse not a midwife! A lot of midwives are having trouble with this at the moment.
  2. We sold before we had visas and moved into rented close to where we lived so daily routines were pretty much the same. I think its only a problem if you are emotionally attached to your property. For us...at the end of the day its only a house, you can always buy another (worst case scenario). As it goes we can move when we're ready and don't have a house sale to worry about!
  3. Oh god I know! Ahpra is just the worst experience of the whole process!! My BP has just about returned to normal!!
  4. Hi! Yes we have a CO now! Just meds to get through next week and fingers crossed thats it.....hopefully visa very soon!
  5. A solicitor did mine for visa. However, if you are talking ahpra then it needs to be notary or justice of the peace.
  6. Fingers crossed it will be ok. You could always apply for a 190 state sponsored visa. You get 5 points for that (if you're struggling on points). Good luck x
  7. I don't know sorry. My anmac was fairly straightforward because I had worked for the same employer for over 10yrs and never less than 20 hours. I had to have a reference verifying those hours etc. Why don't you run it by an agent for advice. Initial consult often free. I have a degree aswell as diploma but couldn't claim extra points for that. What visa are you going for?
  8. Hi there Not sure how they will calculate your points but if you work over 20 hours per week thats generally classed as full time. If you are short on points you can probably do the Ielts tests just for points. At least you are ahpra registered....thats the sticking point for most people at the moment!
  9. We don't really but I didn't want to take the risk of making a mistake. That would have been more costly. Lots of people go it alone with no probs though! Good luck with yours.
  10. I don't know our agent did everything! Well worth the money to take the stress out of it all
  11. Pcc's being uploaded today, not doing meds till next week! I'm paranoid they're gonna find something wrong - even though have no known health problems - and we'll fall at the final hurdle!! I'm sure lots of people feel the same!! I'm sure u will get your grant anyday
  12. I'm afraid she wouldn't get to work as an EN even. Uk nurses aren't eligible. Nursing assistant at best unless she tops up to degree.
  13. Congrats Nat! We are also hoping to get to Adelaide by November! Good luck with house sale
  14. I just had an update from my agent confirming COs are working on June cases. Definately getting closer
  15. Sorry I don't know. I'm sure there will be. Someone posted about this a couple of days ago. Try putting it in the search engine, someone will probably post who knows more than I soon to help you out!
  16. I think that company has been named on here a few times recently saying they have gone into administration. Agents should be registered with MARA -thats the way to know you are using a reputable organisation. Hope you get sorted.
