  1. That's the problem we can't find a helpline, we've requested information from the immi website but nothing. Am going to call go Matilda for some advice. Its basically to ask if we should apply for our daughters child 101 visa while we're still in the UK or wait until we are in Australia in June. Obviously will be getting her a visa to get her into the country. I don't think I her pr visa will be granted before we leave but thought it might possibly be quicker to arrive if we apply for it in Australia. We want to try and avoid having to leave Australia to many times because of the conditions of the evisitor. Hope this makes sense x
  2. Hi, any ideas how I can get in contact with our case worker? We have had our visa granted but having issues and really need to talk to our case worker but have no contact detail only her name. We have never been in contact with her because we were using a migration agent but are no longer using them. Any ideas, the immi website is a maze? Have rung a few numbers and sent emails to any address I can find but now stuck.
  3. Thankyou lebourvellec, unfortunately we used global visas who turned out to be rubbish but we got our visa so we were happy. We have booked our flights for June so not gonna be enough time to get our daughter her visa over here, can we take her on a tourist visa and apply over there? By reading other threads this seems like the only option. But then there's the worry of being turned down, is that likely to happen. Thanks, Colleen
  4. Hi all, Have been granted our subclass 190 visa and moving to oz in June. We're told by our migration agent (global visa's, oh dear) that we could just add our new baby onto our visa but I don't think that is the case. Do I have to apply for a separate visa for my daughter at a cost of about £1700? Getting confused on the immi website. Thanks in advance
  5. Hi, no haven't moved yet looking at booking our flights for June. Hopefully we are staying with a family friend for a few weeks while we look around. Still in two minds what to ship though, we're renting our house out in January and moving in with my mum so gonna probably see then what we really want to keep and sell and what our family can store for us. Thinking about using the move a cube company or Anglo pacific. When are you moving Susan? X
  6. Thanks guys, I certainly had high blood pressure last night! We're trying to find out our trn number so we can see how our case is developing of the immi website. The thing is our case worker has all the information and we just didn't know where we were with it all, after looking seems we might be ok, just as long as we pass medicals and PC. Thanks for walking me through it
  7. Yea it's just the migrations agents website, our case worker said that our medicals would go straight there as we had to have a HAP number from immigration to even apply for our medicals. We uploaded our criminal record checks on the 8th of July. Just don't know if they were then sent to immigration. We have a receipt of payment from the Australian immigration for our visa submission, but this was sent to us from GV. It's just everything has gone through them so far and all has gone quiet which was causing all our worries.
  8. I'm sorry, my partner has been dealing with the whole process most of it through phone calls to our case worker. He's logged me on to our case management page so I can see the timescale for it all. It looks like all our documents (visa application) where submitted to the Australian authorities on the 27th of June. We were then told we had 60 days to complete our medicals and criminal record checks which would be attached to our submission. From what I can see our EOI was submitted last October. I'm still very confused by it all, if only GV or whoever they are would answer the phone.
  9. We've done our medicals and criminal record checks, my partner has found the number to ring now thanks. Hoping to get hold of them tomorrow. Thanks people
  10. Thanks kellyv, they say that they have MARA registered agents that work for them in Australia, think I missed this when we signed up with them. We've had 4 different agents so far which have got us to the final stages of our application, just need to know if they submitted all our information before they went into administration. Is there a telephone number for the Australian government? We can only find a number if your in Australia already. Cheers
  11. Hi, is anyone else having issues with this company, have been told they have been taken over by a new company. We haven't been able yo get hold of anyone, their not answering the phones or our messages and really worried our application will run out of time as we've almost completed it, I think. We have read loads of reviews saying their a scam and take your money and run but we thought they had to follow immigration laws. Anyone got through or can help us, thanks :confused:
  12. Thanks srg73, had forgotten that, we've just had our medicals and are now waiting for our police checks. So if our visa is approved we have to be out there this time next year scary! Colleen
  13. Hi Engrauyon, me and my partner will hopefully be moving next September-ish, and are also after advice. Are you planning on hiring a container and taking all your furniture, or renting a furnished property in oz? Anyone with any advice about the price difference between furnished rentals to unfurnished ones please. Trying to solve a discussion :-)
