  1. Hi guys, My status changed from Lodged to In progress today I guess this is considered to be fast development as the lodgement was on the 10th of June (Australian time). ---------------------------------------- Me: Occupation code: 224112; IELTS: 28 April 2014: Overall 8 (7+ each). VETASSESS documents submitted: 9 June 2014; changed to In progress on 19 June 214 Partner: Occupation code: 261311, IELTS: 28 April 2014 Overall 8 (7+ each). ACS documents submitted: 9 June 2014; changed to stage 4 on the 10 June 2014
  2. Thank you all, it seems the average time is more than 12 weeks, which is quite disappointing, but it is not that I have other options..
  3. Hi all, I've searched the forum and couldn't find an up to date thread about the current processing of VETASSESS Just wanted to share that I've just submitted my documents to VETASSESS. Is there a spreadsheet where all of you guys update your timelines that I can check and update with my details? Thanks! ---------------------------------------- Me: Occupation code: 224112; IELTS: 28 April 2014: Overall 8 (7+ each). VETASSESS documents submitted: 9 June 2014 Partner: Occupation code: 261311, IELTS: 28 April 2014 Overall 8 (7+ each). ACS documents submitted: 9 June 2014
  4. Indeed, what concerns me most is that the requirement for the 189 visa is that the profession must be on the SOL so it is possible for DIBP to refuse to grant 5 points for a partner if the partner's occupation is only on the CSOL. Is there anyone who has been in this situation and can share with us the outcome. Thank you
  5. Hi guys, Wanted to ask if someone can help with information regarding the partner points. The profession of my de-facto partner is on both on the SOL and CSOL list, however my profession is only on the CSOL list (maybe I can get a positive assessment for a profession on the SOL list, but I have doubts about this). So the question is: will my partner be able to claim partner points for the 189 visa if my positive assessment is for a profession from the CSOL list or he can only apply for 190 visa in this case? Thank you in advance! A
  6. There has to be someone who has experience before acquiring the Bachelor degree and already passed ACS assessment... Please share your results!
  7. Here is the confirmation: http://www.acs.org.au/migration-skills-assessment/news-and-updates I am still not sure if they are deducting those 2 years from the total years of highly relevant experience or from the years accumulated after the completion of the Bachelor/Master degree. For example: Bachelor degree completed July 2009 Highly relevant work experience: from July 2008 until November 2013 2 years of work experience will be used to satisfy the suitability criteria and your Skill Level Requirement Met Date will be July 2010 or July 2011? Any feedback will be appreciated. Thank you in advance.
  8. My understanding is that she has 3 months from the first day she arrived and during this period she is allowed multiple entries, however being out of Australia does not mean that counting stops. After 2 December 2013 she will not be allowed an entry with the current visa. Stay For/Until 3 months - this sounds like 3 months in total, not 3 months per entry Must not arrive after 1 August 2014 - this means that the starting date of the 3 months visa should be made before 1 August 2014 P.S. This is just my opinion, I might be wrong.
  9. I am also trying to figure this out. There are many posts here and very contradictory. Check this one: http://www.pomsinoz.com/forum/migration-issues/193998-really-confused-about-points-calculations-confused-whether-i-should-apply-all.html
  10. I guess they mention at least two years because this might be required as a part of the assessment of your qualification. Check if this is the case.
  11. After reading posts here and in other forums I understand that ACS are deducting 2 years from your experience as a part of the assessment of your qualification and this is the reason they count from April 2007. However based on the above it seams you have 8 years and 1 month experience so you should get 15 points for it. Good luck
  12. I am also interested as I am quite confused. Is there anyone who was assessed recently? Thanks
