  2. After reading this I told my husband I wanted us to get a cleaner...he looked at me in disgust and said "a what..a cleaner!! sometimes I think we live in two different worlds!" Lol then without me even telling him where I got the idea he said "maybe if you didnt sit on that bloody pomsinoz all day you would have time to do your own cleaning".. ha theirs a mancunian in australias point of view on it..he must have thought I was having a go at him though coz I came home later to him doing the hoovering I would still like one though but i would feel a bit wrong..I sometimes think if I lost my arms or legs one day i would regret not using them to my fullest when I had the chance
  3. Depends how u define middle class I suppose
  4. Wow. .I would love a cleaner. .ive never met anyone who has one...im obviously not middle class..and i have my own arms n legs 2 clean wth i guess lol What is Australias attitude to socioeconomic division?
  5. If sum1 came to me and asked to put stuff in my bin..I'd think them a bit weird..just do it..its a bin..I dnt care..if u fill it so much I cant get my own rubbish in I'll just pop mine in another neighbors bin! Ive always just seen bins as council property, in my old street we just used to all use each others if needed..rather that than all over the road or fly tipping..as long as its disposed of properly who cares...but ive never had bin problems..I think ppl who care have probably been bin bitten in the past! I wouldnt do it now that ive read this. .I had no idea their was a bin etiquette..maybe my last neighbors secretly hated me n I had no idea!
  6. Oh well dun, that's great news for u

  12. Could you open a bank account and give adress of wherever you are staying at the time and ask them to give you a statement when you u are their wth that adress on, tell them any correspondence you want to go to the bank and you will collect it in person instead of being posted until you have permanent adress.. and use that for I.d..then later u can change adress with bank...thats what I done with westpac

  16. If your first language is English and you have sat a few school/ uni /college exams recently you should be ok..practice will do no harm but dnt wrk yourself up over it..sometimes I think ppl build it up to be something its not and end up scoring low due to anxiety or thinking its more complex than it is..its testing your English so depending how good u feel that is will mean either lots of practice or none..good luck...and if u have an accent make sure u articulate your words properly in the speaking part!
  17. I dont think it needs to come directly from nmc..it doesn't say that on website...I dont know if it will be enough but if its all you've got you'll just need to go with it n cross ur fingers! Im sure other ppl will hav bn in same situation with syllabus ..good job u foned!
  18. I dont know many answers for you but we found furnished rental in sydney very quickly despite ppl saying we wouldn't and we had a few to choose from..obviously you have even more choice and little cheaper if u go unfurnished..we also found furnished rentals easy to come by in queensland. .although this was regional areas so don't know about brisbane. We didnt bring any furniture. We have a car but prefer to use public transport to get around sydney as it is quick, reliable and good value we have found..lots of ppl use just public transport in sydney..dont know about other places. I dnt know about the 2.5 thing..some ppl disagree wth it..we never went by that but actually that ratio has worked out about right for us. Good luck and you may not get the 'facts' u r looking for but you will probably get a few different opinions!
