  3. Hi guys.. I hope anyone can help me with my concen. Im a PR here in sydney and looking for a job. I am about to wed my fiance soon. Does immigration require permanent/full time work to become a sponsor? Will contractual work suffice? Thank you.
  4. Hi guys.. How do we find out that our medical exam results are referred? I had my examination last week and the health clinic said its cleared no further tests required and that they've uploaded it at E-Medical already. Thank you so much. All the best with your applications.
  5. Congratulations Vic! All the best!
  6. Hi Guys, I have a question regarding attaching documents. I have just lodged my visa last night and upon checking on the Next Steps, it listed the type of documents which need to be attached. All were in "Recommended" status. My question is on the evidence of Australian qualification and experience. I have not worked or earned qualification in Australia. My qualifications are from overseas. I checked my form I'm certain that I have not incorrectly declare/ticked any of these things. But why are these appearing as recommended in my list? Is this a standard list? Do I just disregard this one or should I ask DIAC? Would appreciate your help on my concern. Thank you so much. 7. Hi Katiem, May I ask how many years of skilled employment did CPAA recognised in your case? versus what DIAC acknowledged? Thank you so much.
  8. Hi Paul, May I ask what degree you took and when did you finish it prior to completing CIMA? I understand that you got 15 points for education qualification. Thank you.
  9. hi vic.. what is meant by your medicals being referred? how would we know that it's to be "referred"? thanks!
  10. hi guys, i have been trying to find in some of the posts here as to the need to have the DOCUMENTS CERTIFIED or NOT. Are colour scans of original copies okay? Anybody know the DIAC link which clarifies this concern? Also, this is my list of documents to be submitted. Please feel free to add anything that would be helpful in my application. Thanks a lot. 1. 11. hi vcosta, please do update us of the outcome. just to clarify your statement "RE: not highlighting things to the DIAC - I phoned them in advance of applying for the visa as I didn't want to pay out 2K incase I got a refusal and they told me to put it in a covering letter, but said it should be ok (although dependent on the case officer)." -- were they referring to SKILLED EMPLOYMENT/EXPERIENCE ADVICE? thank you so much. God bless on your application. --cpaivy
  12. thank u vcosta for the comment. hi westly. please keep us informed of any updates of outcome. thanks a lot.
  13. Thank you so much Allan. Will need to contemplate on this and consider consulting a migration professional. Take care.
  14. Thank you so much Alan for your time. I have few questions left. 1) Will advice from DIAC to withdraw the application also means loss of Visa Application charge paid? 2) Assuming I take SS and reach 60 points, Is it advisable not to claim/or put in my EOI my employment experience? To manage risk.
  15. hi alan, hope all is well with you. thank you for this comment. i appreciate this so much. CPA Au has already sent me their letter for non recognition of my prior years experience. i am about to lodge an EOI already but got scared becuase i might not be able to claim employment claims due to non recognition of CPA Au and will affect my points. So is it okay not to show to DIAC my skilled employment letter result? Assuming , DIAC would request, what is the chance of my skilled employment not considered by DIAC for awarding of points? Thank you again!
  16. hi vcosta. i have a similar situation. i have earned my degrees in 2004 and when i applied for skills assessment at cpaa they required me to take one foundation level subject. i finished the exam last year (dec 2012). but since i just completed the qualifications for the skills assessment, they are not recognizing my prior years experience (2005-present). can you please tell me the result of your visa application? did you include the skilled employment letter in the assessment? thanks a lot!
  17. hi elderberry.. i have read about your post concerning skilled employment assessment after post qualification. i graduated and earned my university degrees in 2004. i have been working as an accountant for almost eight years now. i have just passed the foundation level mandatory one subject exam last dec 2012 of cpa au. they've not accepted my employment history because i just completed the skills assessment academic qualifiction last dec 2012. does this mean that i wont be able to claim my employment experience then? need your HELP PLEASE. thanks much..
