309 granted for my husband ages ago, we are living in Oz, put in documents for 100 visa Feb this year and it says another 2 years wait!! We can't get a mortgage until we get the 100 as he is still seen as a foreign investor while on 309 It's been 2 years since 309 another 2 years seems a long time to wait Is this right??

Thanks guys, no contact from CO my Agent said they got an email on 31/10 to say they were doing my application but that was all

Soooooo excited to say I got my grant today!!! Will update timeline when on PC. Lodged 13/09 CO 23-10 Grant 8-11 Cannot thank everyone enough for advise and support on here you have all been great xx

Great thank you I logged on this morning and my police checked have changed from requested 24/10 to received 31/10 I uploaded them last week so hoping its all ok and we just get the grant tonight :-/ not sure how long it takes now

You need to Contact them ASAP it's a automatic fail if the points are wrong

Is it definitely a 190 state sponsored visa you have ? Do you have an agent? Maybe look on the WA migration website there is heaps of info on there and a contact page you can ask for help to check Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk - now Free

On a 190 state sponsorship You can apply for any work you want to. I for example have state sponsorship through WA as a restaurant manager, but I don't have to work as that it just that there is a demand for my occupation so should in theory be jobs in that field. The state has sponsored you so now you have your visa you don't need to do anything else, just arrive in WA within 12 months of visa being granted, when you arrive sort out a tax number, Medicare card etc and that's all you don't need to get any sponsor for a job or anything Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk - now Free

As I understand it if you have a 190 state sponsor visa you have permanent Residency, you can apply for any jobs you like. They want you to live and work in WA for 2 years. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk - now Free
