Skilled Nomination subclass 190 sponsorship and commitment

Hi All, I have got my PR sponsored through Western Australia. I have been applying for jobs for last 6 months and nothing is materializing. I am into IT with around 15 year of technical experience. Incidentally I have found an opening in NSW in my current organization and applied for it. They have selected me and found the perfect match. I understand that I have signed up a contract with WA State for staying and working there for 2 years. Unfortunately nothing is materializing and this opportunity is coming on my way. I like to know the implications on my PR (or any other unknown) if I pursue this NSW opportunity. Appreciate experts suggestions on it to decide the next steps. Thanks a lot in advance. Dear all, I am planning my visa activation trip to Australia from Europe. I booked Emirates flight (Europe...Dubai-Kuala Lumpur....Australia). Do I need visa label in my passport / are the authorities in Dubai and KL aware of the fact that Australia does not require visa labels in this case? Please share your experiences. Following is a summary: Skilled Nominated (subclass 190, NSW) EOI submitted: 14/07/2012 SkillSelect invitation: 17/07/2013 DIAC Lodgement: 10/09/2013 CO assigned: 25/10/2013 Police clearance/ medical submitted: 20/11/2013 I am now willing to apply for the VAC2 (English Education Charge) payment for my wife. I'd like to know how long it takes to be sent the payment invoice. And after VAC2 payment, how long it takes to be granted visa. Thanks in advance. Cheers!

Hi I have done my EOI and sent off the NSW state sponsorship form. Received an email from NSW saying that the have received the form and: We aim to process applications for NSW nomination within 12 weeks. Please note that this is only an estimate as the time frame can fluctuate depending on the volume of applications received. We are currently processing applications lodged on 3 October 2013. Am I still needing an invitation? or does this mean I am lodged? Thanks Joe -

Hello guys, this is my first post here so I have to thank all of you guys for your contribution it helped me a lot so far. there is a special place in heaven for you :notworthy: so, anyway I just finished lodging my application for nomination and successfully uploaded all the right documents including a copy of the verification email (of my limited occupation) and I will pay the fees in about two hours. My question is : what is the possibility of refusal of my application and why the reason might be ? obviously that question is out of worrying but you can think of it in a statistical form ... what is the success percentage of nominating a limited occupation after successfully being verified ??? BTW I know this forum is mainly for brits so I can`t miss the chance to greet u guys from the land of the pharaohs itself "great old Egypt" :hug: I wish I can meet some of you when (and if) I become canberran (is this even a word ?!!) -

Hello People I have been reading PIO for several years now and soon the reality of big move will arrive as last week we were assigned a case office. Just wondering what the wait time is and how other September lodged 190 visa people are getting on. We submitted our visa on 6th September. Front loaded the Police checks and medicals end of September Case officer assigned last Wednesday 16th October. Team 2. Lolene CATHRO when did you lodge in September and what stage are you at? EOI for Visa 190 – Does Work Experience count Apprenticeship Term???

Hi Guys, I have my cousin who applied for 190 EOI with – age 25 - points 30, AQF III Points 10, State nomination point 5, Work Exp 8 plus years point 15 altogether 60 :cool: However his 8 years are including 3 years of Full Term Apprenticeship :mad: My concern is whether time served as apprentice counted towards work experience As Full Term apprenticeship is a delivered on “On Job Training” model, this should be counted as relevant work experience. He has been asked to provide evidence that he reached the required skill level prior to completing the qualification and are therefore eligible to claim points for this work experience. How to overcome this one? Pl help -
Hi Friends, I am preparing for IELTS. I am applying for 190 subclass as Systems Administrator. How much do I need to score 6 or 7? I have read that though 6 qualifies,7 is what some states ask for sponsorship....:unsure: Can anyone help me know the actual situation?

Dear All,... I am applying my ACS sometime next week...and have 70 points and applying under 190 subclass.. I plan to take my wife and kid(3yrs old now) once i get a job and settle... 1. Is education free for kids when under 190 subclass. 2.I am a software professional...any idea where i may be put into? as in which state may sponser me? 3. Where can i get reliable info on what all needs to be done on landing in OZ?As i have not many friends there? We have made the decision...a little tensed till things srt out:biggrin:

Hi, I have a positive vetassess assessment outcome as Diesel Motor Mechanic and it was what I used for my 457 visa application 9 months ago. I am now working in WA and planning to apply for PR as my company doesn't have any plans of sponsoring me for a PR visa in near future. Question is, can I use my vetassess outcome letter in applying for a PR visa (190)? Has anyone ever tried this path? thank you much!

Hi all. Curious about 457 temp visas. We have the opportunity to go to Canberra on a perm 190 but heard Canberra is not all that for fun loving partying 30 something's. So the other option is to go to Perth on a 457 but we are concerned that if hubby loses his job or gets made redundant he only has 28 days to find another job. If that happens can he get a temporary job or does it have to be another permanent job? I understand it has to be in the same field of work. What does everyone think? 190 in Canberra for 2 years or 457 to Perth? Thanks

Hello, I just wanted to keep a track of all the candidates who have been sponsored by NSW for 262113 (Systems Administrator) role. Has anyone been granted a 190 visa and got job in Australia already? I would appreciate if anyone who has already got a job can share their experience as to how they got the job offer. What are the do's and don'ts so that other prospective candidates can have an idea how to plan their course. Please share your total years of experience and the approx salary you received or expect to receive as one needs to know how much one can get to plan their expenses and savings. Hi All, This week I submitted my EOI for subclass 190. After it was submitted I had a look at EOI Points Breakdown PDF and it had awarded 5 points for me for "State/Territory Nomination" even though I have not submitted an application for State Sponsorship. My worry is if they would refuse my EOI for claiming more points. The only thing I can think of is, in the EOI form "Preferred Location within Australia Screen" I selected Victoria. Is this normal for points to be awarded even before applying for state sponsorship? Thanks -
Hi Guys, I have got an invitation to apply for a visa sub class 190 in SA. Now we are preparing to lodge a visa application and everything seems to be in order. Guys, it would be great if you could tell me the procedure in little details which would definitely help us preparing ourselves. Once, we get an invitation then what are the chances of refusal? I mean we have all the supporting documents to prove that we have valid 60 points which is required. Please, some walkthrough will be highly aprpreciated. Regards, Romil

PCC Requirement for Australia General Skilled Migration Visa (subclass 190)

Hello, I have applied for NSW state sponsorship and awaiting their result. However I wanted some information about the PCC requirement in order to complete the visa application process for visa subclass 190. As per this link http://www.immi.gov.au/allforms/character-requirements/character-penal.pdf anyone who has stayed for more than 1 year in any country in the last 10 years needs to get PCC done from that country. So I had spent 13 months in Netherlands and returned back to India only in Sep 2003, so I guess I will need to get the PCC done from India which is the country from where I come from and also from The Netherlands since I had spent more than 1 year there in the last 10 years. Can anyone provide me with information on how to get the Netherlands PCC done from India? Thanks in advance. JB -

The occupation list is Analyst Programmer and we have manage to get 60 points which I believe is applicable for this visa.
