  1. How often is the tax office site down? The online tfn application screen has been down since Monday...not very helpful when they reckon it takes weeks to lodge a paper one ? Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD
  2. I'm so grateful for your update. We fly with Emirates in a few days and as I'm heavily pregnant and we have a 7yo, 5yo and 2yo I don't feel like I could manage without our umbrella stroller for our 2yo, especially as it's a 1 way flight. Much appreciated. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD
  3. Hi Nina We used Ambler Collins for our PR visas and they were superb, fortnightly updates and a wealth of help and knowledge hope this helps. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD

  6. We have used various solicitors in the past and have only been charged a few pound per copy Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD
  7. Does this cover over 12s too? It sounds really good ? Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD
  8. @ OP. we've worried about solo flights too (we haven't had the situation yet, as we haven't moved but our situation is different to yours). We worry about how busy and unfamiliar the airports are and the safety aspect too, considering a 12, 13, 14 year old is still a child Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD
  9. The CSA don't have jurisdiction in Australia. I'm not sure about other airlines, but Emirates allow children to fly solo from 5 years old. They arrange for a staff member to accompany them in the airport, but once they are 12 years old they treat them as an adult, so completely unaccompanied. I hope that you find a solution, it sounds like an awful situation Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD
  10. No tips yet...last time we flew out (to activate visas), we went with a 5yo, 3yo and 8mo. We flew with Emirates and the children saw it as a huge adventure. I can't remember any issues. Will try to update before you fly as we leave on 27th Jan. this time we'll be flying with a 7yo, 5yo, 2yo and I'll be 35 weeks pregnant (legs crossed iykwim ? ) Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD
  11. Go to immi site and download form for new details (form 929 I think it is). Send with certified copy of new and old passport. Only takes a few days. I phoned to confirm changes a week after I did this ? Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD
  12. Thank you, that's a great help ? Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD
  13. Does Australia have builders merchants along the lines of Jewsons and Travis Perkins in the Uk or is it more like B&Q? Also, where would a brickie buy bricks from?(I can't find my way around Bunnings website well, but can't find a brick) Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD
  14. Airlines have different policies. The one I'll be flying with allow up to 36 weeks
  15. Does anyone know of any insurance companies that will cover emigration including pregnancy? Go walkabout will cover up to 28 weeks or complications after that. Would a baby born pre 37 weeks be a 'complication' as that would be premature (I feel like Worzel Gummidge and todays head is irrational). I'll be travelling at 35 weeks
  16. Thank you for your speedy reply and help! I'll look at those areas. I'm pregnant and a little worried about making it to a hospital as my OH delivered our youngest in the UK unintentionally
  17. Looking for accommodation in Perth from the UK and finding it difficult. Needs to be near a public maternity hospital and affordable with 2 bedrooms from the beginning of February. any ideas on where to look?
