Afternoon all, We have a 189 visa, Making the move to Sydney in November :jiggy: However, two of our children's passports have just been renewed. My immi account doesn't give me an option to update our details (which frustrates me), so I have to do it old school via post! My question is....Do I have to get colour copies of their bio-data pages of their new passports certified?? thanks for any info xx

As our time to move edges closer, this has been something I've been thinking about quite a bit! Our eldest (now 14) was born with a cleft, has undergone a few surgeries including alveolar bone grafting, and in the last few months has started with brace work to straighten and make room for prosthetics! I've always assumed that Medicare would help cover, but you've got me thinking :eek:

Exactly Ozmaniac, $7920 is what we paid , but exchange rate was more favourable for us, we paid £4400ish including credit card fees for foreign exchange.

Hi, that used to be the case up until last July, now there are individual prices for the family. We are a family of five also, and we payed £4400 odd for the visa application alone! :swoon: My advice........get saving!! Best wishes, Mir x

I asked the same question before we stared this process, on 189, you do not need a minimum amount of savings, however its advizable because this process is so bloody expensive!!!

Hey, only advice I have is to be seriously organised with your paperwork! Collect everything required and more, check them over, copy, check them over, certify, check them over and send and wait patiently! Best of luck, Mir x

Yaaay! Theres hope everyone. got an email with attachments from my agent this afternoon, for a successful ANMAC assessment. Just over 11 weeks after my documents were received. I'm a little bit excited now, EOI here I come!!!! :wink:

Thanks Smitty, yes, applied for a full assessment, wasnt especting to hear of anything until mid october, so this was a surprise this morning! Will keep you posted, fingers and toes crossed that the second assessor agrees with the first! cheers, Mir x

Hey! received ANMAC email this morning, my application is going to a second assessor. i know that this is the norm, but what are the chances that the second assessor disagrees with the first and fails my assesment! has this happened to anyone? (Sorry......doubts kicking in!!) Mir x

Cheers tinaisrar, sent her an asertive email this afternoon, and she replied staright back ( funny as she wasnt answering her phone!!!), will be sorted by friday, so well see!! Hate having to rely on others to do their job! My manager was reluctant to write the reference incase she wrote the wrong things and messed things up for me, only when i discussed it with asociate chief that things started moving! Sorry all rant today, im happier now ive shared it! We seem to be at the same stage.....heres to a swift ANMAC assessment, best wishes, Mir xx

so sorry, i'm going to have a rant! I just wish that people would get a wriggle on! I applied for ANMAC in jan and sent off my payment, and then went about collecting my documentation. Everything that was in my control was done in the space of an afternoon! I requested a professional reference from my manager in january, and despite asking many times, I've only just had it from her last week! I sent off a form to the university at the beginning of february requesting my transcripts, again despite many phone-calls and promises by this woman that it will be sent out by "next week", I'm still waiting!!! (note the anoyance by using the bold italic!!) any suggestions on how i can get her to shift things along without being too confrontational (I have a feeling that if i was to stir things up shed dig her heels in a bit more!!) sorry, it feels good to share though! Hi, my manager had some difficulties with this, to the point that 13 weeks after i asked i was still waiting for my reference, when she finally said that that she was having dificulties, i asked my visa agent and on here if anyone had some examples/samples of their refernces. When i provided her with these she has been able to write mine. Im still waiting for it, but at least im a step closer!! I cant share the samples i got im sorry as i dont have their permission (id be pretty peed if somone was passing mine around without me knowing!), once i get mine ill be more than happy to pass it on if its any use to you. Hi all, just wondering..... I applied for ANMAC assessment in january, although I haven't yet sent off my documents......NMC, IELTS and course transcripts have supposedly been sent directly, but I haven't had confirmation of anything arriving! Is this the norm? Or do they send emails, or are you able to log into an account on the ANMAC website?? Cheers, ​Mir x
