    thanks for the reply's everyone the contract is not helpful nothing in it about handing back and it was a personal loan and the car is in mint condition but only had it 8 months I will call them and see what they say many thanks

    hi people after some info things looking bad there is a big chance I could be made redundant and looking round there is no work out there for my skill set so it looks like we could be moving back to the uk my question is I have a car on finance/personal load can I hand the car back to the company or have I to sell it and pay off the company as if I sell it it wont make the amount owed and with my redundancy pay will cover flights ant advice would be great thanks

    Thsnks for all the advice people I have just recived a email from immi with my visa I applyed for the 820 temp visa but they granted me the 801 permrnant visa so happy Thanks everyone and good look to all thoughs waiting

    Hi what visa are you on at the momment I have bee married for 10 years to an aussie I am currently on a 457 visa ans have applyed for a 820 partner visa But I have not been told anything about having to be offshore when visa is granted Thanks alan

    Im in the same boat as you ronan my wife is aussie we been married 10 years but im all ready in oz it took 5 weeks for me to receive a conformation letter and I have been told it can take 9 to 13 months for it to be processed not sure if different time frame onshore/offshore

    Yes I believe so was just asking as I have an email saying that once all paperworks are received I will be assigned a case office but my application was sent in as decision Ready

    Hi all are you all applying offshore if not what state are you in. I applied for my partner visa Onshore in December but still not received it I only just received a CO last week. believe it takes a lot longer onshore.

    Hi littlekitty I have applied for 820 in December 2013 and I the same handed it in at perth office and nothing was said about it not aloud to be handed in. have received your visa yet

    I spoke to immi over the same thing as in the immigration partner hand book it states that if you have been married over 5 year and have children together you bypass the temp visa and get full visa entitlement straight away and they confirmed that it is right

    When you hand all your file over with everything in it eg medical report police report relationship history proof of living arrangements and you have to have printed on the file decision ready I was told my immigration if handed in like this it is fast tracked and only takes 2 to 3 months Hope this helps

    hi bizlarker from handing everything i got an email with in 7 days saying it was a valid application and the bridging visa was attached but not granted as i am still on a 457 visa the bridging visa will come into effect if my 457 runs out it just seams strange that one person tells you one thing then another tells you a totally different thing

    Hello everyone i was just wondering if anyone in WA as gone through the partner visa 801/820 i submitted my application early December as a decision ready application i was told if i have not heard anything with in 2 months to ring up. so i rang today to get a total different story that it will take up to 18 months was just wondering if anyone has recently gone through the process many thanks alan

    Hi everyone my name is alan and i would like a bit of adivse if possible i am currantly on a skilled 457 and have a choise of 2 visa to apply for i have been married to my wife for 10 years we move to australia in august 2011. my wife who is a australian citzen by berth has just recived her citizenship what i want to know is will it be easyer and best to apply for partner 820 visa or Employer Nomination Scheme 186 manythaks

    Hello everyone I have a question and hope some one can help. me and my wife have been talking about going for permanent residency. when i have been asking round people that have gone through it all some peole have said we would be better going for citizenship because my wife was born in australia. the question is. My wife was born in adelade but her mun and dad moved back to the uk when she was a child she has a engish passport but a australian birth certificate what would be the easy way to go about this many thanks alan
