    Wow, this looks very English!
  2. Hiya, welcome to PIO. We're not in Mango Hill so can't help with that, where is it?
  3. We travelled over to Kalgoorlie last week-end, it was another thing to tick off the list. Didn't know what to expect, but was pleasantly surprised. Arrriving on a Sunday, the town was very quiet, but by Tuesday the main street was quite busy. A reasonable selection of shops and bars, and the Superpit is amazing. There is also a 'Dome' there! We also went to Lake Ballard to see the Anthony Gormley statues, and a quick look at Boulder. Took lots of photos and even managed to replicate your Avatar 4C (don't worry i'm not storking you).
  4. Congrats! The adventure begins.
  5. My dad loved Kenny as well. I would have thought he was older than early 80's.
  6. I was on the treadmill with my earphones plugged into my ipod, but watching the tv. Across the bottom of the screen the news scrolled 'Tests on Iceland products showed no meat in their 'meat' dishes. Was this a wind up?
  7. Wow that's quite a story of courage in adversity! Life certainly throws it at us at times! Glad it's all come good in the end. She's absolutely beautiful! Nothing but best wishes for the future!
  8. Enjoy your time back in the Uk, it sounds like you have a lot to look forward to. Like Fifi, based on previous posts, I wondered if you were also 'checking it out'
  9. We're in Perth, and haven't managed to get over to the east coast much Yet (only managed to pass through Sydney en route to NZ) Would love to get to Tas, as I had relatives who emigrated there in the 70's. They lived in Hobart and Launceston, and are now buried there, (they were retired when they emigrated) Unfortunately, like you the first wallabys that we saw were also road kill, but have seen loads of 'live' ones since! Sounds like you are enjoying Tas, and things are working out for you, enjoy.
  10. So sorry to read your story. Look after yourself  Stay strong! He didn't deserve you.
  11. My grandmother used to have a really heavy cast iron griddle for making welsh cakes with an integral handle. I have a lighter version, but it's not the same.
  12. We used to have an apartment in York, and visited Whitby, it's a lovely place, enjoy your week-end away!
  13. Happy St David's Day ........
  14. Just bumping this up for you ...... sorry can't help, we are on the other side of the country!
  15. There are lots of Brits where we are Perth NOR.
  16. We used Wridgeways, UK to Oz. No breakages and no complaints!
  17. We were in the same position as you when we came to Perth in Sept 2011. Husband's company said 457 would take approx 2 weeks, came through much quicker. However, they have sponsored people previously.
  18. The acrobatics are amazing. We have seen two of the live shows, 'Q' and 'Mystere' Didn't think the film was as good as the shows, but then any live entertainment, bands, theatre etc is always better, isn't it? .......
  19. So I have some delicious time to myself. What is your OH doing at the moment? P.S. Please remember forum rules Lol!
