  1. I went September to September and this was fine. Landed in Sydney and stayed til after New Year (with a short trip to Brisbane before a longer trip again later on) Brisbane in the height of summer which was sweaty, headed to Cairns around June July which was nice but couldn't get any work, so only ended up staying 3 weeks
  2. To be fair it has been a very mild winter where I am. I think my OH has had to scrape my car in the morning just once which is quite unusual
  3. God I'm in bed every night at 9pm and don't even live in perth
  4. I stayed with a friend's family for a while in Bridgeman Downs (North Brisbane) and that was a nice area although the Colman's English mustard in the local shop was WELL out of date. I used to get a bus into the city and it took about 40-45 mins. Which doesn't seem a lot when you live there as you tend to travel ages to get to places and not too much of it.
  5. Absolutely disgusting
  6. So awful I hope the people on board didn't suffer
  7. That's okay... Haha I had 3 G&T's myself as one of my dad's friends was driving.
  8. Fantastic. And yes fantastic guitar playing. I agree I can't believe they are not bigger but then they have been around so long and still going so they do well for themselves. Is that all tickets were I didn't know as my Dad got ours
  9. Great gig, really enjoyed it. Good venue too. Had never been there before.
  10. How funny, I'm off there tonight myself. Seen them only once before a few years , possibly 2006? Can't really remember. Met Pete Way in a kebab shop afterwards.
  11. Personally I'd like to live in St Albans. Not rich enough yet though
  12. I think I'm a pretty good morning person. I'm used to waking up early with the children. Once I've had a shower and am dressed, got some make up on, I feel ready to start the day. I'm probably more grumpy in the evening when I'm tired. I do like sleep though so I tend to go to bed pretty early. (I'd fit right in in Australia, right? )
  13. Not so sure about that. I think, one time, she was out in the rain taking a picture of the lightning and storm with a camera. Hence being struck. So she says.
  14. My Mum reckons she's been struck by lightning, twice. This doesn't surprise me.
  15. Loving the sunshine this week. Took the children to the park yesterday and we're off to Peppa Pig World tomorrow to continue DS 3rd birthday celebtrations. I love Australia but it is nice to go out in the sunshine not needing to put sunscreen on (16degrees yesterday at the park, pleasantly warm - to me and the children). Obviously a few degrees warmer and they'd be covered in it still. Ideal temp to me are late teens - early 20s
  16. Ahh many drinks were had in Tinbilly's. I miss Brisbane
  17. I didn't find it that bad. You just have to suck it up and get over it, it's only one day Food, drink, rest, what more could you want I do like flying generally though and I was only 20 when I did that trip. No way in hell I'd attempt it now with my 2 very young children
  18. Pretty windy here today
  19. I'm really not sure, but I don't like the way she's tried to make money out of the whole situation.
  20. What about SAHMs? You'd think I'd easily lose weight the amount of running around I do on a day-to-day basis but obviously I'm not doing it quick enough, lol
  21. I've got my page set to private, but will have another look at trying to restrict what my friends' friends can see
  22. What about what other people can see of yours?
  23. I don't think so. I can see what my friends have 'liked' or commented on their friends' stuff, even if I'm not friends with them.
  24. On Facebook, all of my setting are set to Friends, but it annoys me that their friends can see my pictures if they like them, and vice versa, and comments etc. How is that keeping privacy between my friends? Does anyone know how it can be set up so it is literally just friends?
