  1. Hi Poeribbo - Congratulations!! By the way, how long did it take for your medicals to be entered into the system after they got to Sydney? I ask because I tracked mine and it was "delivered" according to the carrier, but my documents checklist still read "outstanding".
  2. lol I am so happy that your case is moving - your situation was so torturous - to have the ABPF and no sort of communication from the office for ages!
  3. Congratulations, Mattster!! :ssign19:
  4. This shall then be an exciting week for you, Heine!
  5. keepherlit - thanks for responding to my question. I wonder, though if I should email my CO regarding the meds being on their way, or if I should wait for them to get there. I've heard horror stories about people's meds reaching Sydney and the CO not receiving them. I think that happened to Heine, but it happened to more people from other forums. At the same time, I really don't want to email them but wait patiently. So I guess I ask, what have those who didn't use an agent do with regards to meds, did you tell them they were on their way, or did you just sit patiently?
  6. Just a brief question - When someone gets his or her meds done, does he/she have to go to tell the CO? Or is that something that is automatically delivered from the doctor's office to Oz, and we have no say in it?
  7. Thanks, Keepherlit Well, I contacted the doctor's office, but they told me that the lab results (for the blood test) will be available come Monday, or Tuesday, in which case, they'll mail out the results on Wednesday. So... I'm wondering, Oz should receive them probably by 21 May - around that time. I guess I won't hear anything on a visa grant until around late May if not early June. The doctor's office did not give me anything like a report, etc. Just a "thank you for using our services".
  8. Hey Keepherlit - Are you able to see your meds on your evisa system? Just wondering, cause I just had mine done last Wednesday and I'm wondering if I'll get to view that information...
  9. awesome, zee!! This has indeed been a fantastic week!!
  10. haha, you need to get rid of the sweet Koala and personally borrow the big bad Jambos wolf LOLOL
  11. haha, it must definitely be the big bad Jambos wolf that was let loose. Let's keep it loose for a bit more, then we can put him back in the cage
  12. wow, it's really an exciting week!
  13. I read of someone from another forum who had his panel doctor send them FedEx and the results were posted almost immediately the following week. I wonder if panel doctors who don't use the eHealth system provide patients with that option? I ask because I'm taking my meds soon.
  14. Jambos, I was gonna say.... had nothing happened, I was about to borrow your wolf! :skeptical:
  15. Thanks to all for your kindness! What does it mean when your status changes to "Met"? Is it a decent enough reason to get your hopes up high at least for the moment? Everything for me shows "met" except for the medicals. Can I safely assume that if I don't have a medical problem (gosh I hope not), that everything will be fine? and... what do they do in the medicals - do they puncture you with many needles?
  16. Congratulations Oppyddrum!!!!!
  17. Hey Guess what everyone!! I am finally a big fat PINK!!! CO contacted me, albeit at 2:45am (not at 1:11am as was preferred LOL) requesting only medicals. When I got to work, I checked to see what is met and what's not, and everything has been changed to "MET" except the medicals!!! wooo hooooooo!!!!
  18. Thanks, Angela, Oppyddrum and Jambos - Honestly, my steam is gone. I'm not wanting to get my hopes up high this week in case nothing happens...
  19. What is a "bank holiday" ?
  20. Thanks, Jambos - your own patience was an inspiration for all of us here!
  21. I would love to do that, but won't because their official date is 3 October. lol, they may come back and say, "Please refer to our allocation table. As you can clearly see, we have a month of applicants before yours is taken care of, please be patient"
  22. sigh... feeling much better now, thanks to all. I realise at the moment it sucks to be me, but that's okay, I'll be patient and wait. Anyway, I found this on abc.au - I thought this link may be of interest because it shows DIAC processing applications from HR countries and complaining about some of their frustrations.... well how about the frustration that some of us LR applicants have to go through?:biglaugh:: http://www.abc.net.au/news/2012-05-02/immigration-workers-reveal-widespread-visa-fraud/3985834
  23. ... and still no news for me... :em4600:
  24. Well that's true.... sigh.... Things could be worse - for instance, ~~~if we were still waiting on IELTS results and having to take that dreaded test 3,4 or even 6 times and not having applied for the visa yet ~~~ ~~~ Or waiting for a skills assessment that's taking too much of a long time.....~~~~ ~~~~ Or passing the IELTS test after the 5th time but then getting a negative skills assessment....~~~ I guess... I guess things could be worse. :dull:
  25. blah - I have lost hope for the rest of the week... I read on a different forum that even January's are now being allocated ..... would be great news if I were a February applicant, but since I'm not, it's rather unpleasant news.
