  1. I have read that somewhere not sure if its correct.
  2. If your in medical or planning to wrk with children you will require a medical, if you have been abroad for more than 3 months in 3rd world type countries they like you to have a chest x-ray. That is what i was informed anyway.
  3. Just wanted to say good luck to everyone. Lets hope next week brings positive news.
  4. It certainly is. Everything is in place to go, house ready to let, car ready to be sold, removals on stand by and family waiting to say their good byes. Just waiting for the Go Go Go!!!!! LOL!
  5. Good luck Delaneym. Mine was submitted last Wednesday, had chest x-ray last Friday been waiting just over a week now. Life on hold LOL!
  6. Hi Guys, Has anyone submitted a 457 Visa application this month? If so have you heard back? How long did it take? Wishing you all well. Greggers:biggrin:
  7. Found some more for you: [h=2]Visa conditions[/h]If your application for a temporary visa is approved, the following visa condition, known as Condition 8107, will be applied to your visa. This visa condition relates to work conditions and stipulates that you must work: in the occupation you were nominated for; and for the sponsor, or an associated entity of the sponsor (except for exempt occupations). Further information is available on ComLaw (IMMI 10/030). See: ComLaw If you do cease employment, you must not cease for more than 28 consecutive days. You are considered to have ceased employment when either you, or your employer gives notice of intention to cease employment and the date of the notice of intention to cease employment has passed. If more than 28 consecutive days have passed since the date in the notice of intention to cease employment, you may be in breach of Condition 8107 and may have your visa cancelled. In the event that you abandon your employment, or are absent without leave (AWOL), you may be considered to have ceased employment. If your visa is about to cease, and you want to apply for another Subclass 457 visa, you must lodge a new visa application. From 14 September 2009, if you want to change employers (within the validity of their visa) you will not be required to apply for a new Subclass 457 visa, however a nomination must be lodged and approved by your new sponsor.
  8. Have a look at this: [h=2]Applying for a new visa or changing employer[/h]If you have an employee who wants to apply for a new visa (where their current visa is about to expire), the employee must lodge a new visa application. If you want to change employer or position (within the validity of their current visa), you are not required to apply for a new subclass 457 visa. See: Applying for this visa http://www.immi.gov.au/skilled/skilled-workers/sbs/how-the-visa-works.htm
  9. Sorry i don't know the answer, however that does seem a very long period. Have a look at the government website and see what it says on 457 visa exchange. Good luck
  10. I have to agree with the negativity bit, as there seems to be a growing trend of people being rude, arrogant and miserable to other peoples questions, quieries and thrist for information. Like I have said on a previous post this site was set up to help people not put them down. So my three happy things: Life - This is truly wonderful as I have been to war and seen death first hand, so please everyone be happy and enjoy every moment of it as it truly is precious. My Daughter - A beautiful little creature that makes life a extremely wonderful experience. (She has a life threatening condition and loves and lives life to the fullest) My Wife - She is beautiful, kind, loving, understanding, a wonderful mother and a all-round great person to live with. Guys if you want to be negative try thinking about how it will affect others before you write it. Have a great day.

  14. How ignorant and rude some people are.
  15. I think it will depend on your trade and how many are applying under that sector. The more people applying will probably mean you require an higher points score.
  16. Hopefully this will be great news for some people.
