1. Yep that's what I think too - you could always email your CO and ask if you're safe to book flights after the 15th November if you like That might satisfy your OH's nerves...
2. We don't have PS (we have LG) but hubby was advised not to do his medical until he was requested. Which he was - on the same day he got an email confirming who his CO was! Don't worry - I'm sure you'll get there soon enough
3. Fingers crossed you can hear something back at least to know she's still around...
4. And in news just to hand (as of a few minutes ago): OH will be getting his visa grant before he flies in November!!!!!! I will grant your visa before you are due to travel. Please email me the end of October to remind me. Regards A great big huge thankyou to our CO
5. Arrgghhh that must have been nerve-wracking!!! You should get a CO email any day now, ours was 4 days after the payment was taken. I was confused for a minute by the public holiday - then realised of course it's canberra not victoria! Different states have some different public holidays - the main ones are all the same, but some of the 'smaller' ones are different
6. Doesn't have to be NZ - just find a good deal and make sure it's flexible Hubby will do whatever's cheapest when the time comes, because I'll be too busy working to go with him At least I hope he does !
7. What you could do is pre-book a flight to New Zealand (which you'd need to take anyway) and if you make sure it's changeable / fully flexible you could just use the same flight to make your Tasman dash when the time comes!
8. Thanks Bob, Guess I'll be thinking EXTRA GOOD thoughts about Satch passing her blood tests (taken yesterday) so she can go in October!!
9. Haven't hear of any grants at all from LG on here!! It'll be Jon doing the dash alone chances are, i'll be working so he's not allowed to have fun or enjoy himself!!!!
10. Damn, was about to ask who your CO was in the hope it'd be the same as ours!! Still 3.5 months is amazing!!!! I'm just hoping all the spouse visas are processed quickly from now on - OH flies on 8/11 and all we want is the visa before then so he doesn't have to do the Tasman dash!

Hiya P.

Satch's blood tests are next Monday (Hubby's getting out of work early so he can come too!) and we're thinking good thoughts. She's quite calm about the kennel, I'm glad we got it early, just need to tart it up a little bit so it's a bit comfier for her <img src="<fileStore.core_Emoticons>/emoticons/smile.png" alt=":)" srcset="<fileStore.core_Emoticons>/emoticons/smile@2x.png 2x" width="20" height="20" />

12. GRATULATIONS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Brilliant news Now for the hard work organising your move!!!!
13. It's the same here, I'm afraid it's just a matter of wait and see, No news is good news and all that malarky!
14. I'm still hoping our CO will grant Jon's visa before he flies.... Just don't know!
15. Gah I know what you mean, so much to do, so little time, so MUCH stress....
16. Hi Paul, Grats on your visa first of all!! Exciting times I've been very happy with Jets4Pets so far, no question is too dumb for Sam to answer. Although obviously the proof will be in the outcome I guess! If you check out their facebook page you can see photos of the kennels they use (and a couple of our viscous attack labrador!) Cheers
17. OMG - wow!!!!!! Calling hubby now to see if he's checked his email lately!! ** edit ** He's emailed her to see what's happening, but hasn't heard anything back yet.....
