  1. Not sure if this helps anyone but I sent off for wifes PCC on Friday 21st by 1st Class Post using the standard service and received the email from them this morning....
  2. Hi Chris, I have added you to the spreadsheet
  3. HI Rahul, I believe thats a typo, and Patrick means Cat 4, as there are no Cat 3's for a 175 according to this link: http://www.immi.gov.au/skilled/general-skilled-migration/estimated-allocation-times.htm
  4. I would think it may be the embassy in London who do the checks as your right, it would be late evening or the middle of the night over in OZ
  5. Hi srr, I have added your details to the spread sheet
  6. Cheers Heine, I have added your details to the spreadsheet
  7. It has now...its all yours
  8. Unfortunately Lori already has the 14th Feb
  9. Good call, to keep it interesting think we'll add a new rule that you cant have a date thats already taken...
  10. Thanks....I assume you mean 14th March 2011 .... After an exact hit this month, Im going to hold judgement and see how this week pans out.
  11. Hi John, They usually stay as 'required' until a CO picks up your file. You can check the documents that your agent has uploaded using the following link: https://www.ecom.immi.gov.au/visas/attachment/start.do?attachType=VISA_APPLICATION&group=travel You will need to get your password off your agent. Bharat
  12. I believe its usually 28 days, but you can request longer with a good reason, i.e. you cant book a medical in that time due to the clinic being booked up...
  13. Did consider this but we have been putting this in the 'Any Other Info' column....Hope thats ok Bharat
  14. Not a bad idea, Ive added the column on... I know DCAL mentioned he was in Team 2...
  15. Guys, I've added another column on the spreadsheet. If you want to share where in Oz your headed for I will update the spreadsheet, maybe once we are all over there it may help to keep in touch... Bharat
  16. Its worth noting that the May 2011 applicants with a CO were not 175/176 applicants, they were 885 applicants.
  17. I think we should let Tania have it....
  18. According to DCAL's calucations on the spreadsheet it should be around the 20th December update, this is based on using average calculations from Dec 2010. Personally I think they will start processing May applicants in around 3 weeks but the DIAC update wont reflect that
  19. Here you go.... http://www.acpo.police.uk/NationalPolicing/ACROCriminalRecordsOffice/PoliceCertificates.aspx
  20. Yes it is getting late, only staying up so I can watch Mock The Week....LOL We are thinking of Perth, I was out there in Jan for a 3 week holiday and loved the place that much started the visa process off in March (see timeline).... Its me, wife and 2 young boys (5 yo and 20 month old)... The time seemed to fly by at the beginning put has slowed down, but cant complain as I was told it would take around 18 months to get the visa, at this rate could have the visa within 12 months. What about yourself?
  21. I only say that as I cant see your details on the spreadsheet... My bad, just seen you on there....DOH
  22. I know 100% how you feel, its a gut thing for me too.... I've made a subconscious decision that as soon as a May applicant gets a CO, Im going to get meds done, Ive already done my PCC as I had a driving mis-demeanour about 10 years ago and wanted to make sure it didn't appear on the certificate, luckily it didnt, thats dated late September and Ive been told they use the earlier date from your meds and PCC for your initial entry date..so mine (if i get the visa) will be that date anyway.... Definitely appreciate a point of view from the other side of the coin, also doing the meds early gives you more time if they get referred, so there's definitely advantages... Also, why not join the gang and put your details on the thread?
  23. Well Im in no rush, so wait is probably the best thing.... Think Im getting caught up in the excitement of it all
  24. Thanks for the advice guys.....think the general feeling is wait, which I'll gladly follow
  25. Guys, Bit of advice needed....due to the recent speed that DIAC seem to be processing us Cat 4'ers Im very tempted to get my medicals done, whats everyones opinion considering Im a June 2011 applicant? I called the Spire Hospital in Sutton Coldfield yesterday and they can see us next Saturday (29th October), lady on the phone said it will take 7-10 days for the results to be uploaded so looking at mid November before they reach DIAC's systems. Main reason I want to get them done is with the Christmas period fast approaching everything is bound to slow down here in the UK, with holidays and potentially the dodgy weather we are told we may be getting. If anyones interested the Sutton Coldfield hospital has appointments for next week, they dont seem to be overly busy whereas the Handsworth one dont have any appointments for 2 weeks. Reagrding the costs, Sutton Coldfield are a little more expensive coming in at £760.50 for 2 adults and 2 children whereas Handsworth are £710.
