  1. Hi Zee, I have added you to the spreadsheet....All the best
  2. My agent was the same....I think they dont want the blame if anything goes wrong... I really wish I had gone it alone and not bothered with an agent as my case seems straight forward..... Oh well, you live and learn...
  3. Hi Blech, Im sure your not far off a CO....Have you thought abut getting your PCC's done and getting meds booked? It seems to speed the process up quite a lot....
  4. Your welcome.... Dont forget on the page where you check your application (if you did it online) to click through on EACH persons name (to the page where you download the forms for the medicals), this will ensure that when you call your chosen hospital that every member of your application will be on E-Health.... Hope that makes sense Bharat
  5. Hi Jambos, Try this link: http://www.immi.gov.au/contacts/overseas/u/united-kingdom/panel-doctors.htm
  6. Hiya, Im sure the time will fly by for you in the waiting room.... I know its risky but thats the one of the main reasons I front loaded PCC's and medicals, dont wanna spend too lin in the waiting room...I'll go loopy...
  7. Hi Lori, I uploaded mine through: https://www.ecom.immi.gov.au/visas/attachment/start.do?attachType=VISA_APPLICATION&group=travel I tried taking a screen shot, hope it works...
  8. I think you may have a CO, you probably havent got an email as you have front loaded medicals and PCC's...... Thats what Im hopin for you anyway
  9. Thanks for this Tania, a really interesting read.... They say there are around 5544 Cat 4 applications in the system as of 18th November with DIAC allocating around 1000 a week (i know not all 1000 with be Cat 4's)....so we are looking at 6-8 weeks for them to reach July 2011? Personally thats great news for someone like me who lodged in June 2011 and was told it would take approx 18 months to get a visa... When DIAC say 'this program year' for allocating Cat 5's , is that this calendar year or do they have a different start/end date for their 'year'?
  10. I really hope they are on June applicants but I think it will due to the change of circumstances...
  11. Hi, I have added your details to the spreadsheet... All the best
  12. You are now officially kicked out of the waiting room :biglaugh: Happy to add the column but would mean a stack of work for Tania and I, how about we put it in the other info box if anyone wants to share the info?
  13. So they reached the 22nd March, there goes my theory that they are trying to do a month every 2 weeks. Ever so slightly disappointed that they didn't get to the end of March but a good start to the week with a grant and a CO allocation...Congratulations guys...
  14. I think the update on Mon/Tue will be a good indicator, I think they will move forward a month so will show a date at the end of March or beginning of April. I read on another thread that someone got a 457 granted on a Saturday so they may even be working weekends The only thing that can slow them down is the Christmas break otherwise I think their aim is to probably be up until July 2011 by the end of this calendar year. Would be good to hear others opinions too...........
  15. Guys, Had my meds this morning, anyone who is in the Midlands area of the UK I can highly recommend the Spire Hospital in Sutton Coldfield. Had our appointment at 9am (4 of us, 2 adults and 2 kids, aged 5 and 1), we had Dr Khan, who made my 5 year old feel really comfortable. We were all done by 11am. Cost was slightly more than Handsworth but you did get free parking directly outside and what looked like a brand new clinic, paid £760.50 in all. Thats us pretty much all done, hopefully the results will come back at met quickly and a Case Officer will pick up the file before the end of the year.
  16. Technically your not in the waiting room, more of the pre-waiting room but Im sure nobody will mind you sitting in the corner ....
  17. I get the impression that towards the end of the second week (before an update is due), DIAC seem to try and allocate every application for the month, so when the update comes out they will try and show a movement of a month every 2 weeks..... If thats the case then the next update will show 31st March or early April..
  18. I added a column to the end called Date Updated which I am updating when any changes occur...so it may be worth looking at anyone who hasnt updated in say 3 months and move them to an 'archive' sheet?
  19. Congratulations Tania....
  20. Talking about this fortnights update, the book is still open for your guesses... I'll go for the 4th April 2011
  21. I think the general consensus is that the first 6-12 months are the hardest as you try and adjust with earning and spending dollars as you keep converting everything back to pounds and thats quite scary as I read that a can of coke in Sydney costs $3, approx £1.85 if you use 1.6 as the conversion ratio... Try and think of it as an adventure and if it doesn't work out (however much the idea scares you) you can always come back... If you don't go your always going to think...what if.....
  22. Agree 110%.... I know its not the same for the guys who were bumped up categories when their occupations came back onto the SOL, but for people who have lodged recently (like me, June 2011) to be told that it may take 12-18 months to get a visa. The way processing has been going, approx a month every 2 weeks, there could be a chance of getting a CO this side of Christmas, so we are very positive about how things are moving....
  23. Not necessarily true as AAAZR has frontloaded meds and PCC, he may already have a CO, we have seen many cases where they dont update the website and grant directly....
  24. Just below this post you should see the page number we are on, 298, if you click First, it will take you to the first page of the thread
  25. Hi, I have added your details to the spread sheet. According to this site: http://www.gettingdownunder.com/2008/09/17/high-risk-or-low-risk-country-which-are-you you are from a High risk country...
