  1. It's nice to hear of stories where companies interview before coming over. What kind of background are you if you don't mind me asking?
  2. If you have your IELTS you can then create a EOI, once this is created and you have atleast 55 points you then apply to your state for sponsorship. For WA mine cost 200 dollars. If this comes back successful you will recieve a invite on your EOI
  3. sorry if didnt word that the best. Its 5 years from your grant date. My visa got granted this week, thats where i had the info from
  4. If your on the 190 visa you have one year from the grant date to activate the visa then within 5 years of grant date to make the move to oz
  5. Thanks, my CO was Brisbane team 34. Sent the police clearance last night and it was granted a couple of hours later. Did not have to supply any forms such as 80. If you are the same once your police is uploaded you may well be away to go. Good luck
  6. Visa granted :ssign19: hang in there guys. Good luck
  7. Just a heads up for you incase you claim the wrong points and have trouble in the future, are you aware that your IELTS score is based on your lowest mark so you would be band 7?
  8. Just to note, if your claiming points for partner skills you too will have to have a valid skills assessment
  9. 20 days it took me but have heard of people getting it sooner. good luck
  10. Thanks homewardbound, thought it may have been extra criteria experience they were looking for. Apply apply apply
  11. Hello poms, when jobs refer to the term FIFO ex perth only, what does it mean? I know obviously that the FIFO is fly in fly out, but does the ex perth mean that they only fly in and out of perth or is it along the lines of previously working FIFO? Thanks in advance
  12. Mine was 5 weeks and 3 days....as hard as it gets try to keep patient
  13. Yea we didn't go for agent either saved on the ££££. Yep your right there couldn't have done it either, the posters on here are as good as an agent
  14. Congrats Ekulwi, the info can be saved. There are 18 pages, the final one being the payment. The site goes a little funny from time to time so best save your application as much as you can save you losing all the data. Good luck
  15. Well done, DIAC will now send you a invite over the next couple of days. You then have 60 days to lodge the visa application and pay the 3060 dollars. You upload documents when you have lodged the visa
  16. Had my medical on Friday, got speaking to the doctor. It's the doctor here that that will refer the medical. But also Australia hand pick a few on random to refer due to a sampling process. So just a heads up why medicals get referred if nothing found to be wrong.
  17. C/0 got allocated today finally after a 5 week wait. CO has emailled asking for 3 documents, health, pcc and skils assessment. Am i right by saying all the other documents are ok?
  18. Hi guys, After lodging the 190 visa a month ago, two weels ago received a email from a admin clerk for valid visa application. Today i have received the same email and same two attatchments off skilled migration. Has everyone had this duplicate email? Does this mean CO is about to be allocated or something? thanks in advance
  19. Hello Biddy, Im pretty sure you still have to do a skills assessment with VETASSESS to be able to lodge a visa application. Once that is completed then now able to claim a valid EOI. Imagine you are fine with points as in WA already and have work experience. All you would need is 55 points then WA give you the extra 5 to 60. With the 190 visa there no points ranking as the 189, so once your on 60 all's good Have to apply to WA for state sponsorship, that's 200 bucks. Onc they approve you then you get the invite to lodge visa. Hope that helps
  20. Na I know what you mean mate, just they may take what you say about work if incorrect a false claim thats all. To be fair it's not worded very well on the application either
  21. To be honest I don't think it does says in black and white that you will lose your money, there is a tick box just before you put the payment in on lodgement saying that I swear that all information is correct and failing to give correct information is a illegal offence. Together with the fact the visa is 2k it is very high risk.
  22. All work experience points are post not pre qualification. Your 99% percent likely to be out of pocket then for false claims. They put a lot of emphasis on this when applying so its not something they take lightly.
  23. I for one do not have any time for the woman, beyond that getting the tax payer to pay 10million for her farce funeral. The nation wouldn't have minded if it was a quiet and private funeral, but don't take out of our pockets and plaster it all over the news when we need to be spending it on improving this country.
