. A few images as to what visitors may see if they decide to take a look. A warning: Unless you are there at 4am don't expect to find a place in the car park. It is the same size it's been for the last 23 yrs and there are no plans to extend it. The reasoning is that no matter how big they make it, it will always be full and never big enough to cope with the visitors. Park in the town (early arrival essential in season and holidays) and walk up to the park, or park in the side streets en route although some of them have a 2hr limit. Bye-laws prevent sleeping in vehicles on roadside or car parks with heavy fines for offenders................blame the dirty, messy backpackers who have no respect for the environment.
Wear good joggers or boots. This is the result of wearing thongs. Shot from a kilometre away a casualty evacuation due to a badly sprained ankle................it's only a sprain (you may say) but depending on where you are, it could be a 7 kilometre limp back
