acham
One thing i dont get though is chicken salt......what the hell is that all about?!? Chicken salt on chips is great! Much better having that on fast food chips than the usual tasteless stuff you get in say, KFC, back home.

Aussie Abroad
I don't know either! I'm sure it appeared in Oz only a few years ago. Maybe it's a US import (like so many other things these days)? Nah, chicken salt has been around in Aus for eons. Horrible stuff.
Skani
Nah, chicken salt has been around in Aus for eons. Horrible stuff. Oh...maybe it's only recently made it to Tasmania. I first saw it a couple of months ago at the Aquatic Centre canteen There are advantages to living in a time warp!
Guest Kat551
I miss Mr Kipling mini Battenburgs (vastly improved sponge to marzipan ratio over regular battenburgs). I also miss Chicago Town microwave pepperoni pizzas even though they're not British, and Birdseye potato waffles that can be done in the toaster at 4am when you're scared you're too drunk to safely operate any other cooking device. I'd give my right arm for a decent lamb bhuna.
