Well guys...

We finally bit the bullet and told our bosses on Saturday of our plans!!! It went way better than I ever expected and whilst they are very sorry to see us go (we both work for same company, so it was a double whammy), they are also happy for us and completely understand why we're doing it.

So now we're on the countdown for our last 8 weeks of work eeeeekkkkk

House sale paperwork still going through, but fingers crossed there's no hurdles with it and then we move out the week after we leave our jobs....this is all becoming wayyyy to real now!! lol

Off out now, but I'm sure I'll be back on later to get a second fix of favourite forum!!lol

How exciting I think at this stage I will start to panic and it will also feel real, I told my work at the start when I lodged my application so did my husband so they have been fine with it all, my work are now in a panic as I pointed out once I get a buyer I will shortly after be booking my flights and they still haven't trained anyone up, they have only had 3 years,.

You will be back to see who arrived when and how it all went I know I will and for the get together's once in Aus.

Tania

I know how you feel :hug: the same for me no CO again, May applicants are getting their COs but not me. I dont understand what system DIAC has, how they choose who will get CO or visa first :no:some kind of lottery.

Anyway congratulation guys, I am happy for those who were more lucky than me today :wubclub::wubclub:

Hi, blech.

I think there is no reason for you to get worried about the absence of your CO as you are going to have meds in 2 weeks. Anyway, if you have a CO allocated tommorow or, say, the day after tomorrow he or she will ask you to get meds. I mean the period to your grant does not depend upon the allocation of your CO as you must have your meds done first and you are completely reliant on this:wink:

But I wish you had your so much desired CO by the first winter day comes!:jiggy:

Guest waitingtogotooz

Wish you better Tania.

It is getting a little lonely in the waiting room/torture chamberso I thought I would play out some music in here and for those waiting for COs:

Here's a little song i wrote,

you might want to sing it note for note,

don't worry, be happy

in every life we have some trouble,

when you worry you make it double

don't worry, be happy

dont worry be happy now

dont worry be happy

dont worry be happy

dont worry be happy

dont worry be happy

I know you are right buddy, but after almost two years in this visa process I think I have reason to be little bit impatient.

Still no visa... And I have to wait now 24 hours to check. Sob

Your turn is near, i can feel it. I almost feel sad leaving you behind in the waiting room, i will hang around while you get your visa granted so we can leave the torture chamber together. My hub is traveling and wont come back till saturday and want to tell everyone the news with me, so ive been biting my tongue not telling anyone yet, that is why ill be hiding in the waiting room for this week, hoping not to get kicked out

Nice song  don't worry, I'm here in the waiting room with you, you'll be gone before I go

Ah I dunno about that. We all know that the DIAC work in mysterious ways but glad of the company xx

Just to share that my CO is from Team 2.

Aslo, as per the data spreadsheet, I have observed that the time to get CO is reducing from 2-3 weeks for each passing month and shows that DIAC propably wants to finish the 2010-2011 applications before Xmas, which is a very possitive sign. So, happy xmas/new year and good luck to all waiting out there for CO's and grants.
