  1. Yes, I know! Now, could you tell me when I will be selling my house? Congrats on your sale and move, it must feel great to be free to save and plan. Tania, you too!
  2. Tania can you please turn us purple? We got our Christmas present today! According to our agent, our CO was new and probably inexperienced. The team leader has picked up our case today and made everything in order.
  3. I know the feeling. We're from Feb, got a CO finally in Nov (after even April applicants already had a grant)... All was finalised on 5 Dec, hoped we would have our grant this year, but not yet. Our agent has sent three emails so far, but that hasn't helped.
  4. Hi guys, just a short update to say nothing has happened yet for us. Still no news from our CO... Probably already on Christmas holidays . It would have been such a nice Christmas present... It's good to see though that CO's are already allocated to June, it is going at such a quick pace! Congratulations!
  5. Ah but DIAC was a week early!
  6. Bpremji can I have May 27?
  7. does anyone know how long it takes from having everything finalised/met to a grant? I'm starting to feel very pink in a sea of purple...
  8. I know how you feel. I was by far the last Feb applicant to get a CO. In fact, it was on the day of the official update that the passed my date, that I got a CO. People from April were getting COs long before I did... It's very frustrating, I know, but don't worry about it until the official published allocation dates are further than your application date.
  9. Hi, I agree with the above: ask an agent to see if there is anything you may overlook. Apart from that: as far as I know, both medicals and police checks are valid for a year. That means that if you can get a grant and book a flight before that year is over, you should be ok. I think you had your medical in Sept? Application for 176 can go pretty fast in some cases (faster then 175 in 2011), because they are cat3, so I think that it may be possible... ?
  10. congratulations!
  11. oooooooh That's awful! I'm so sorry for you! :arghh: I have no advice except what others already said and that is to ask an agent. I do hope you will find a solution
  12. You were right, all medicals finalised today!!
  13. CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!! that's just great dear
  14. LOL all these good wishes, it can't go wrong now, can it? Let's hope for many COs, grants and, if I may add, house sales!
  15. Thanks all for your advice and support Just called the clinic, and the doctor says blood tests were fine too. It may be because of some hearing loss that I have in one ear. But the doctor has said that he has declared us to be healthy. Well, let's hope the ozzie medical officer agrees with him
