Guest vickey1
Be honest; how many times a day are you checking you online status? For me I reckon it's 4 on average. When ever I read the update of any member, I immediately check mine. Apart from that I also check it very frequently. Once in 2 hours and some times once for every hour. But the funniest thing is I was checking my status even today, although I know that it is a holiday for DIAC  I hope and wish that every one of us will get the grants ASAP. All the best to myself and also to others in the waiting room.

I like to think that if you check your status regularly enough then a siren sounds and a big red light starts flasing in the CO call centre alerting staff to a possible mental breakdown which forces them to move you to the top of the pile on health and safety grounds. Guest SunPrincess
Ha, ha! I'm glad that I'm not the only one who is checking for emails & online status several times during the night when I'm up for a pee!!! It's got so bad that my hubby is turning off the internet connection before we go to bed and then I'm sneaking it back on again during the night so I can check emails and online status again! And yes, I know all my details off by heart as well - was quite funny as someone asked me to countersign their passport application for them the other day and they said I could take it away so I could add in my passport number however I just went ahead and wrote it on the form.....they now think I'm amazingly smart for being able to remember my passport number off by heart......little do they know eh! I just wish I could get an answer as feel as though I was waiting for months before I was allocated a CO and now I feel as though I've supplied everything they've asked for yet I'm still waiting....it will be really frustrating if the CO asks me for more evidence etc which I'll need to go and get which I could have been doing for the last 3 weeks if I had known they needed it!!!!!! Aarrghgghghgh!
Guest obelixous
Does anybody have examples of how long it took from employer being contacted by Oz High Commission to getting VISA? I am thinking it should not be too long!! In my case the Work Experience requirements were changed to met after around 7 days of the call. Guest NatsB
Ok I'm feeling so much better being surrounded by obcessive people!!. My morning routine; Check emails, Check on line status (numbers all known off by heart), check PIO to make sure Nats hasn't beaten me to the finishing post!! Only joking Nats I'd be happy for anyone who gets their grant the waiting room is hell :frown: Each time there is no change on my status, I check on you too...just in case.. :twitcy: AND....I'll have to do this all over again in July to get a visa for the new baby.
