hmsmark
Has anyone heard from MNO or Silverbobby? They're the only two remaining June applicants without COs. It would be nice to put June to bed.
Sol2Oz
We sent everything we were meant to Sol2Oz. Our agent has assured us that our case officer is new, and being pedantic. Spent last night printing bank statements for over a 5 year period!!!! :goofy: Hope it suffices! Perhaps you had the same CO too Oblexious?!! Wow, that's unbelievable! Did you submit your reference letter on company letter head with the dates and all?

PatrickW
Give them a chance! DIAC only claim to have processed up to 20 June 2011, despite the progress made in the recent CO allocations. Wait at least until DIAC claims to have passed their application date, with no update from either MNO or silverbobby before turfing them onto the 'stale' list and closing out June. Guest sadupops
Hi Muirzoid, I teach PE, over the years I have also had the opportunity to teach ICT, Geography, History, RE and a few other subjects. I am currently head of PE so just specialising in that. both my wife and I teach. We both recently handed in our resignations so we can head out to Oz in Sept. our lives are crazy here. The work/family life balance is way out . I only get to see my kids about 15% of my normal school day. Thankfully my wife is a superstar and puts up with me. however the whole idea of Oz for us is to cut back and for at least one of us to spend more time with our 3 kids. I really hope I can secure a job teaching because I love it, but am not convinced I will get a PE job. I am petrified in one way, giving up a very good position and doing well, for the possibility of a better life down under. I've always been safe and sensible, but this feels so right moving to Oz. If it all goes well- Excellent, if it backfires, we can always hold our heads high and say we gave it a good shot. As the say fortune favours the brave. best of luck to you and yours in your application and plans for a new life down under. Damo i read this message and i thinking a guy in the UK wants to move his family to Australia because of the work life balance issue in the UK. i am like "if only you lived in U.S" people here live to work and you will absolutely have no time for your family except on vacations. its all about work work work and work here. and i am pretty sure the UK has a better work life balance than the United States. Guest breilly
What's happening with you today Brielly. Did you find out what further info was needed?? Thanks for asking but we still don't know, phoned diac but they wouldn't tell us as we have an agent, and our agent still hasn't received the email that was sent 4 days ago. Our agent has requested that it be resent but we have been told that this could take up to seven days for response to be sent. Not good really and I thought waiting for a co was stressful

SHandGH
Just for clarity. The "Stale Contributions" list on the spreadsheet is not intended as anything other than an area to park thread contributors who are inactive on PIO and unlikely to contribute again. I will gladly welcome back anyone on this list if they get in touch. The intention is to display accurate information for active members and nothing more. I'm sure we all welcome contributions from any individual even if they might become inactive later. In the interest of removing negative labeling I am renaming this sheet "Dormant Contributions". Thanks, SHandGH

Thanks, SHandGH I think it's a a good thing - allocations are moving fast now, but for ages the front page list looked very patchy and it was hard to tell whether people were waiting (very disheartening) or simply not around anymore. I go quiet for weeks at a time because I home school our children, (and time just gets away with me) and I would not be offended if I was parked off the main info list to make sure things were fairly represented! Thanks for all your work on the thread! Nats
oppyddrum
oh I know! :swoon: I just submitted my PCC feebies check yesterday. Hope it arrives just in time for my November application! Speaking of PCCs, i just saw on http://www.immi.gov.au/allforms/character-requirements/character-penal.pdf that you might also need one from your state Police for the last 12 months... did you arrange that already as well? i find that is usually easy, i got mine in DC on the same day, but this was like 3yrs ago. Guest zee80
oppyddrum, I looked into this when doing mine but is unnecessary as all the states report their information to the FBI. I think the documentation on this is outdated. I also saw this same topic being discussed in a couple of other threads floating around somewhere. Guest greo2908
Hi everyone. After quite a few restless nights of checking my emails I have now finally received the CO email (team No. 2) requesting meds and pcc!! Felt like we were being left out of the DIAC party that's going on at the moment but we can't complain as it's still just over 7 months since application was submitted.
