someone from the Chinese forum got visa grant yesterday(April 29), subclass 886, lodged 2009, Dec 15.

As it was obvious that there is no change in allocations table but this is the good news if someone got grant or if they have started processing 886. i still hope they will resume processing FS visas shortly this month or in june. wish u all good luck.

Guys, after 4 yrs and 10 months, I've finally received the grant letter yesterday.

Here's my time line : Applied 176FS - 4 June 2009, Moved to 175 after new IELTS score - 3 Feb 2014, CO allocated - 25 Feb 2014, PCC and Med submitted - 31 Mar 2014, Grant Letter - 24 Apr 2014.

I wish everyone here will receive their grant letters as soon as possible so we can close this thread and move on to another :) Best of luck guys !!

Hi, I am interested in changing my application from 176 to 175, Can you pls give us more details about how I can proceed with it. As I scored full marks for IELTS at the time I applied (2009 March) I will have to consider some other option, May be assessment of spouse profession or gaining marks for some other thing, I need extra 5 marks. Please inform me whatever you know, Thanking you in advance

what I dont understand though is , they have given 28000 fs quota for this year. but when u add the sum of 13400 goes to SS and 847 goes to FS (190 eoi and 489). they still got ample of places left for FS. for the next 2 months even they fill another 6000 its still less tan 20000 places then wht abt the remaining 8000. any inputs Gagan nand the rest.

I might be wrong, but who knows how many FS cat 5 they've allocated when they finally started processing them last fall. Maybe there are some of your missing numbers.

They were saying that starting February, the visa places are limited and the remaining are kept for current applications and for those on the final stage.

Hi Guys,

I have sent a quick query to my case officer this morning and received default automatic reply instantly. Seems like they have changed that automatic reply email ( last time 6 months back I have received different one) and the way they talk too. You guys might have seen this already. Here is the first few line of that auto reply for you guys. Enjoy, specially the first line " so we can spend as much............"!:err:

Thank you for your email.
