It is just a case of asking the school/dr, some doctors will charge for this and I have seen some ridiculous fees being charged, if this is the case it may be best to see if you can get it under the freedom of information act.

School report - you've probably saved all the childrens school reports. Don't know if they still have the immunisation/child development books - but that's what we showed the school.

Dr's files. Unless you have a complicated medical history, then you don't need to bring them.

Dont bother.

As Ali said, the only thing the schools are going to be interested in is the immunization record. Unless you have had a complex medical condition the doctors wont worry about what has gone before so you dont need to bring anything really. The only exception to that would be if you have a child with a disability and hope to get support in schools in which case you bring with you every assessment ever done, their IEP and a current assessment of their skills and adaptive behaviour plus any diagnostic information.

When you bring your child book with immunisation record - you will probably have to get this validated at a Dr's over here. It's a bit of pain because the immunisation schedule over here is different and they have different vaccines. But you have to get it done so that it can be registered on the child immunisation record for medicare. You will find that they immunise against Hep B here so your children will have to have those if you want to access certain things like childcare rebate. In NSW your childrens immunisations have to be up to date to do this.

They also give the Chicken Pox vaccine - if your child has had Chicken Pox I would advise getting a letter from your Dr in UK as you can't get it listed on childhood immunisation over here without it- well I have been unable to do this!

It may be worth getting your DR's surgery to print off immunisation records as well as bringing your red book!

As others have said you do not need school reports but bring any major assessment reports if you have them!
