can i bring a used vac cleaner to oz

thinking of buying a new dyson one, but dont want to spend alot if we cant bring it to australia in a few years?

any advice would be great thanks

I think the general consensus on here is yes you can bring it over but make sure it's been cleaned and stick on some clean filters on FAO those nice customs boys n girls. If you put Dyson into the search you'll find shed loads of advice.

We took ours with us, just had to make sure it was spotless, clean all filters no dust left on it anywhere! etc, we even used an old hoover to clean the one we took with us :wub:

We brought two Dyson uprights - one old one and a new one still in the box. Wife and I can now vacuum in tandem :biggrin::biggrin: <- that is us. In fact, we also brought a mini Dyson too. We've not got OCD.

 

One thing I will mention is to think about getting one that can vacuum hard floors as well as carpet.

Us too, we just made sure it was spotless
