I believe it means the CO hasn't even gone through my file to check the attachments. It's likely, the CO starts inspecting each of your documents once they are all there - saves them time. Regarding my medicals they were sent by post.My agent had asked me to do my medicals and PCC before as the CAT 2 applications were being procesed.Hence I had done my medicals .But, now my online status has changed ''to application being processed futher" hence I wanted to know if i had a CO. This was the second time that i had my medicals done .the first one was in2009 and then all the changes took place . I hope this time things will work out. RozarDream Posted August 4, 2011 Share Posted August 4, 2011 Hi Razor Dream, In my opinion, the best option would be to renew your wife's passport after you guys get the Australian Visa. I do not know your nationality but I am guessing that your Country will have an embassy in Australia. you can get your passport renewed from that embassy. The other path can be to renew your wife's passport now and inform your CO. In my opinion (although I am not sure) this may delay your case. I have the same situation. My passport is going to expire in 2013 & I am expecting t get the visa grant by the end of this year or start of 2012. If I change my passport I will have to inform my CO & he may initiate some further security checks, since I belong to a HR country & my security checks are already expected to take 10 months, so I do not want my case to delay any further. I think now I should not take any risk, If I got VISA then we should handle this..........................// But, After getting VISA & before land in Australia if I renew the expiry date then what will be effect? any idea? We (Myself & my Spouse) Got the VISA on 08/08/11 & these days were busy to get the stamp on our Passport.................. Its a Great Pleasure for me............ I feel very happy.................. Anyway, that is behind us now and after awesome snow holiday in NZ visas are stamped and we back at home in Melbourne in our new status.
