Hi

I have a letter from the Aussie Tax Office giving the rullings regarding pension paid when you emigrate.

If anyone wants me to email it to them, please PM me and I'll respond ASAP

It's too big to post on here as I had to scan it in!

I would very much appreciate a copy - eric_colette1@yahoo.co.uk. Just sitting waiting for visa approval now, 3 months of waiting already and driving me mad !! Look forward to getting back talking to ADF as DIMA have been very slow and not the greatest at keeping you informed of when a decision will be reached. Maybe next week fingers crossed.

Many thanks ERic

I have seen the letter in question (a copy was on the BE Forum a few days ago).

Those who receive a copy of this letter should be aware that it does not reflect the tax position in respect of the taxation of UK source pension income post 1 July 2006 by those who are "temporary tax residents" of Australia - those who hold temporary residency visas should be aware of this.

Best regards.
