Thom
Having returned to the UK from Canberra, we had to have all our personal belongings in storage for some time, due to house renovations. Our shipping was done by a Sydney based company On receiving our goods, we have found that many items are broken, and several boxes missing. They have been particularly bad at communicating and seem to have washed their hands of us. Would NOT recommend them. PM for details Edited December 21, 2018 by ali Company removed
rammygirl
Who did you insure with? I would always recommend a third party rather than the removals company for this reason.

PIO doesn't allow name and shame posts in that a company name being mentioned, however, people can PM you for more details of the company you've had a negative experience with.

Plus they take a commission.

When we you have been on sites like this for as long as we have you see how often people who have insured through the shipping companies struggle to get anything when they make a claim. On the other hand those that you a third part (Letton Percival immediately spring to mind) seem to have no problems when making a claim.
