Asperger’s son

Hi there,

I am a residential worker in Scotland and my job is on the skilled migrant list. I have been advised to contact George Lombard, as my 8 year old son has Asperger’s. Does anyone have any experience of using George’s service? I’m also unsure of George’s fees and don’t t want to be paying money and still not be able to get a visa. Any advice would be gratefully welcomed.

George is a very well known migration agent that specialises in cases with medical complications. When we get members on the forum with medical issues, we routinely recommend they contact him.

Yes, he will charge a fee, but that is going to be a lot less than applying and being refused. He should also be able to tell you what the fee is likely to be.

Thanks. I’m waiting on George to get back to me now. I actually think my son would thrive in oz, he is very sporty and loves to be outdoors.

He may be very sporty and love to be outdoors but unfortunately that's not what immigration assesses. They will be more concerned how much support for him is going to cost the Australian tax payer. There's a bit of a catch 22 in that if you get a visa the chances are he isn't going to be eligible for support in school or for post school options. If he is eligible for support in education then chances are he won't get a visa. You will need to provide updated medical, therapy and educational assessments including current psycho educational assessments (iq, adaptive behaviour, skills levels etc) and current interventions, ieps etc.

I’m not sure children in Oz spend any more time outdoors as children in the uk.  The opposite gets on the way, too hot or too cold to go out.

Eorge is one of the best agents around, and has a lot of experience with cases involving medical issues.
