Hey guys, long time observer. Just got my golden email and wanted to thank you all for the support along the way.

RSMS, Direct Entry 187

Nomination 8 July 2017

Visa 10 July 2017

Nomination approval and visa grant 14/12/2017

LR Country

Additional documentation: none, direct grant

Occupation: Resident Medical Officer 253112

Interestingly my Bridging visa grant and application confirmation said NSW PESE, but my grant said WA PESE

Auto reply email as of today:
We are currently allocating ENS/RSMS cases lodged between April 2016 and August 2017.

These dates are for nominations or visa filing?

They are handled by the same team, and often nominations and grants are decided together — as was the case above.

Hi, guys. I have been a silent follower for quite a long period of time. Just came up a question wana see if anyone could give a suggestion for me would be appreciated.

I have lodged my visa application in early Jul 2017 (nomination had been granted in early Feb 2017, lodged in mid Mar 2016),  handed all documents except police clearance at my own country and health examination. Do you guys think I should do the health check now or wait until CO request?

My MA suggested I should wait til it is requested, the reason why is my police clearance cannot be provided by my own nation without an official request, so she thinks I will be requested for police clearance anyway, and so she suggests to wait for request and do both together by the time. My view is to prepare as much as possible, I cannot help with the police clearance but health check can be done. What do you guys think?

FYI if interested: my occupation is marketing specialist

So from what we are seeing, 5 months seems to be the average time for some skill level 1 occupations at present just based on people's posts on this forum. I'm just *guessing* based on ENS/RSMS as it appears they are following similar grant patterns.

It really is hard to predict which occupations are approved fastest, but it certainly seems that professional, and highly technical skills are being prioritised.

It appears that the large influx of other applications is causing the average processing time to increase out to 15-18 months.
