Hello friends,

I have seen many helpful people and hope someone can help me too.

I am about to start my first stage which is RCB in 1 week. I am going to apply for 187 Direct entry from India.

I have spent nearly 3 years which started from ielts and other preparations.

My agent has asked me a question - whether I want to apply nomination and visa together or separate.

As it is my time wasted is too much already and rest things have to start.

Now my question to you guys is that should I go for both the nomination and visa together. or it can be risky apart from money.

I know the entire thing can still cost me 1 year.

Also my agent told that perth nomination center is the hardest in the country? any experiences ?

Pls let me know .. I would appreciate this ..

My personal email is babbar_rajat@hotmail.com

Thanks in advance

Thank you yuderdc.. can you tell me one more thing..

My agent is saying that applying together can be risk of money .. do you think

its worth taking the risk .. considering time is also the factor.

also are you offshore / which state you applied ?

Actually, I don't think its worth taking that risk.

If you apply together, you would only be about 3 months faster.

But if you fail the nomination, it might cost you about $4000.

I applied my nomination on 12/12/16 offshore and I prepare to apply my visa after nomination is proved.

Sorry about my terrible English writing skill, hope you can get what I am talking about.

Immigration itself is a risk, isn't it? I am onshore and applied QLD.

Thank you soo much for replying chaseyoung.

If its 3 months gap, then I can play safe... As in my case its not only $4000

but I am married and I have a kid also.. So I guess I have to pay for all 3 .. just for 3 months..

Is your nomination approved ? How long it took for approval.. ? which state have you applied ?

I also suggest you to apply together. The progress of visa application could be checked by yourself through immiAccount once it is submitted, but I am not sure whether the progress of nomination application could be checked through immiAccount too. If it is a different system and only could be checked by your agent, there is a potential possibility that your agent keep you from knowing the progress or give you wrong or false information. Above is not my imagination but a fact happened to my friend.

Hello Rajat,

See its not fair to judge your situation and make a decision.

Few points you can consider before applying is.

1. HR or LR country?

2. HR or LR Occupation?

3. How big is your company in terms of business?

4. How experienced your MA is?

Offshore and $6300 plus is large amount and if you are not in rush you can wait and apply separate.

But if money is not an issue go with both together, as waiting sucks mate.

Hope this will help.
