Yes, you can track your nomination application. Give your agent your immiaccount username and ask him to share the nomination application to you. After he does that, you will see two applications(one is visa, the other is nomination) in your own immiaccount.

Today My agent told me in the past weeks thousands applications (including 186 and 187) were refused. Most of them were refused due to incomplete documents.

Ask your employer to give you a leave without pay (LWOP), which is from your first working day to the day before you go back to work. You'd better send the application to your employer via email and make sure he or she reply you via email too so that it could be used as evidence if the immi ask you about it in future.
