GilraenH
What is worse? My employer's department who do the lodging of the nomination told me to go ahead and apply for the visa, gave me the trn number and RCB cert ticked that it was lodged but they hadn't actually lodged the visa so my application was invalid and I have to wait on the refund to relodge our application.

anneoz08
hi everyone! we recently lodged this visa last august 2013. we didn't expect that most of you are waiting that long. as per DIBP's site average processing time is 6mos. only how come there are still in process from 2012:(. i read this forum late, i just know what drc means and its difference from non drc. we lodged non drc with agent. if only i knew that its faster to process with drc we should have grab this. Ā is it possible for me to lodge secondary visa 457 so i can be with my hubby the soonest? I just heard 187 visa will be processed faster if both of us are onshore. Ā See my timeline below: Ā July 2011 - Hubby (primary applicant) granted visa 457 January 2012 - We got married August 2013 - Lodged 187 non-drc (me as secondary applicant) Ā all docs are submitted pending wife's medical(per our agent, wait for advise)

Lennie
That depends on your job code and where you got your qualification. Ā Hi blossom79, Ā My job code is CSOL 241111 (Early Childhood). I have a Bachelor Degree in Early Childhood Education from University of Southern Queensland, Toowoomba, Australia. Therefore, I am not sure whether I should start applying for skills assessments. The process when applying the skills assessment is very long.

I had to repeat my med though because the year was past, but as a nurse my med was exactly the same as a PR med. shame about the time scales. Ā Has anyone else been advised to do this?
