I finally got my permanent residency today morning. My Timeline: Nomination applied:7 Oct 2015 Nomination approved: 4 May 2016 PR Visa applied: 31 May 2016 PR Visa Granted : 28 November 2016 Occupation: Bar and Cafe Manager Two people HR I am so happy. I been in Australia from last 9 years and struggled a lot for this day to come. Can anybody please add me to spreadsheet so that my info can be helpful to others as others previous info was very helpful to me. According to them, if there is not match found (which I am pretty sure because I have done this fingerprinting business before), record check should be processed in 3 days or less and then few more days to receive the document in mail. So hopefully should have it by December 1st. What about you? Here is post about the same situation: Hello All, My file has finally been opened. But I am still not done lol Case officer has requested for Criminal record check (fingerprint version). I had submitted regular police clearance (without finger printing). So just collecting documents now and hoping to submit within granted 28 days. My time line is as follows: Direct Entry Country - LR (Canada) Nomination lodged - 17/09/2015; Nomination granted - 15/04/2016 Visa lodged - 19/05/2016; Visa status - Information requested A good news nonetheless as at least now I know that result is not far away Cheers! Hey Vsingh So frustrating! We were in Canada in July so we could hae got this Royal Mounted Candian Police Report completed for CAD25. The whole process is now costing us somewhere in the region of AUD300! I wonder if our MA will refund the additional cost we have incurred?! Anyway. There is a light at the end of the tunnel. I hope that you receive your documents from Canada soon. Ours was posted from Australia yesterday, hope that the prints will arrive in Canada before the end of the week. Migration agents aren’t trying to “rip you off”. A migration agent can assess your documents and situation, and then give you advice on how best to proceed.
