Guest
How long were you in Australia for? Did you retain any ties with Australia? It is pretty unlikely you can return without going through the visa application process again but there is a slight possibility of a RRV if you were there for more than 2 years and have retained ties with Australia. lebourvellec
First you would need to apply for a resident return visa, to get a 5 year RRV you need 2 years in Australia in the last 5. But there are 1 and 3 month RRV which need information regarding ties to Australia and reason why you haven't been back. Sometimes I've seen people that wouldn't think qualify get granted RRV. Prob best getting a registered migration agent to look over your case and point you in the right direction on the evedince you will need. A job offer can make a big difference. doubter
I was in oz over 5 years ago on a 121 subclass with full residence ,came home after 1 year ,can I come back I was in oz just over 5 years ago on a PR 120 subclass and came home after 8 months. got a RRV today for a year online from the UK. You may well be eligible as well and it's far cheaper and faster than applying again.
Quinkla
These days the initial visa seems difficult but they give out RRVs like Smarties. Someone posted a while ago that DIBP take the intention to return to Australia, in and of itself, as evidence of retaining ties to Australia. That was just about my claim to go back and mentioned delays as daughter was completing her education. I never had a claim for a job offer
