Paul1Perth
I'd rather they didn't have crazy things waiting to hurt me like those box jellyfish and those stone thingies! I can't remember the name now. Your safe if you stay on the sand  Box jellyfish and stonefish Stacey. You would be very unlucky to get those around Perth. They are much further up North. We get the odd shark mind you.
Paul1Perth
You have to admit there's some crazy stuff over there lol so many creatures seem to be dangerous and then I read about these trees up north queensland that are really harmful so I won't be touching anything! That would be the drop bears Stacey.

Captain Roberto
So - some people like beaches and some don't.
Que Sera Sera
We are a 20 minute walk from the beach. I'm a water type person. I can't explain it. It just calms me and relaxes me. I'd love a sea view, to open the blinds to water is to me the best feeling ever. We sit and have breakfast next to the pool, it's just lovely. JockinTas
I think those of us who live near a beach are very lucky. Australia is a huge country and lets face it a large percentage of it is desert - bugger all there really. Years ago my husband was building shearing sheds out at Cobar, NSW and when he returned to Sydney the young lad from the farm came back with him for a week as he wanted to see the ocean. Some of those kids will never see it. The rest of us take it for granted.
